Container for toilet brush
Abstract
A container includes a container member having an inner
peripheral flange curved and folded radially and inwardly from a
lower portion, a base plate engaged into the container member and
having a peripheral recess for engaging with the peripheral flange
of the container member, a frame engaged with the lower portion of
the container member, and a bottom board engaged onto the frame and
secured to the base plate for securing the frame between the bottom
board and the base plate and for detachably securing the frame and
the bottom board and the base plate to the lower portion of the
container member and for cleaning purposes.

Claims
1. A container comprising: a container member including a
cylindrical structure having an inner peripheral flange curved and
folded radially and inwardly from a lower portion thereof, and
including a chamber formed therein, a base plate engaged into an
inner chamber of said container member, said base plate including a
peripheral recess formed therein for engaging with said peripheral
flange of said container member, a frame having an upper peripheral
shoulder formed therein for receiving said lower portion of said
container member, and a bottom board engaged onto said frame and
secured to said base plate for securing said frame between said
bottom board and said base plate and for detachably securing said
frame and said bottom board and said base plate to said lower
portion of said container member.
2. The container as claimed in claim 1, wherein said frame includes
a peripheral bulge extended upwardly therefrom for engaging onto
said lower portion of said container member, and includes a
peripheral rib extended radially and inwardly therefrom for forming
said upper peripheral shoulder therein and for receiving said lower
portion of said container member.
3. The container as claimed in claim 1, wherein said frame includes
a lower peripheral shoulder formed therein for receiving said
bottom board.
4. The container as claimed in claim 1, wherein said base plate
includes at least one screw hole formed therein, and said bottom
board includes at least one orifice formed therein and aligned with
said at least one screw hole of said base plate for receiving a
fastener therein.
5. The container as claimed in claim 4, wherein said container
member includes an opened upper portion, a ring member includes a
peripheral fence engaged into said opened upper portion of said
container member.
6. The container as claimed in claim 4, wherein said base plate
includes at least one stud extended therefrom and having said at
least one screw hole formed in said at least one stud.
7. The container as claimed in claim 4, wherein said bottom board
includes at least one stud extended therefrom and having said at
least one orifice formed through said at least one stud.
8. The container as claimed in claim 1 further comprising a toilet
brush selectively engaged into said chamber of said container
member.
9. The container as claimed in claim 8, wherein a ring member
includes a peripheral fence engaged into said container member and
includes an inner peripheral shoulder formed therein, said toilet
brush includes a brush member disposed on a shank, and a cover
having an aperture formed therein for detachably attaching to said
shank and for engaging with said inner peripheral shoulder of said
container member and for blocking said container member.
10. The container as claimed in claim 1 further comprising a toilet
sucker selectively engaged into said chamber of said container
member.
11. The container as claimed in claim 10, wherein a ring member
includes a peripheral fence engaged into said container member and
includes an inner peripheral shoulder formed therein, said toilet
sucker includes a sucker member disposed on a shank, and a cover
having an aperture formed therein for detachably attaching to said
shank and for engaging with said inner peripheral shoulder of said
container member and for blocking said container member.
12. The container as claimed in claim 1, wherein a cushioning pad
is attached onto a bottom portion of said bottom board and said
frame.
Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0001] 1. Field of the Invention
[0002] The present invention relates to a container, and more
particularly to a container including a detachable or disengageable
structure for selectively receiving or containing the toilet brush
and/or the toilet sucker and for allowing the container to be
easily disassembled for cleaning purposes.
[0003] 2. Description of the Prior Art
[0004] Various kinds of typical containers have been developed and
provided for receiving or containing a toilet brush, or may
comprise a toilet brush selectively received or engaged in the
typical container. Normally, for sealingly receiving the water and
the toilet brush, the typical container is normally made or formed
into a well sealed structure having a blinded chamber formed
therein for sealingly receiving the water therein and for
preventing the water from leaking.
[0005] For example, U.S. Design Pat. No. Des. 349,237 to Hall, U.S.
Design Pat. No. D465,957 S to Driscoll et al., and U.S. Design Pat.
No. D481,573 to Lin disclose three of the typical containers for
receiving or containing a toilet brush.
[0006] However, after cleaning operation, the parts or elements of
the typical containers may not be detached or disengaged or
disassembled from each other such that the typical containers may
not be easily cleaned by the users.
[0007] The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate
the afore-described disadvantages of the conventional containers
for receiving or containing the toilet brushes.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0008] The primary objective of the present invention is to provide
a container including a detachable or disengageable structure for
selectively receiving or containing the toilet brush and/or the
toilet sucker and for allowing the container to be easily
disassembled for cleaning purposes.
[0009] In accordance with one aspect of the invention, there is
provided a container comprising a container member including a
cylindrical structure having an inner peripheral flange curved and
folded radially and inwardly from a lower portion thereof, and
including a chamber formed therein, a base plate engaged into an
inner chamber of the container member, the base plate including a
peripheral recess formed therein for engaging with the peripheral
flange of the container member, a frame having an upper peripheral
shoulder formed therein for receiving the lower portion of the
container member, and a bottom board engaged onto the frame and
secured to the base plate for securing the frame between the bottom
board and the base plate and for detachably securing the frame and
the bottom board and the base plate to the lower portion of the
container member. The frame and the bottom board and the base plate
may be selectively disengaged or disassembled from the lower
portion of the container member for allowing the container to be
easily disassembled and cleaned.
[0010] The frame includes a peripheral bulge extended upwardly
therefrom for engaging onto the lower portion of the container
member, and includes a peripheral rib extended radially and
inwardly therefrom for forming the upper peripheral shoulder
therein and for receiving or supporting the lower portion of the
container member.
[0011] The frame includes a lower peripheral shoulder formed
therein for receiving the bottom board. The plate includes at least
one screw hole formed therein, and the bottom board includes at
least one orifice formed therein and aligned with the screw hole of
the base plate for receiving a fastener therein.
[0012] The container member includes an opened upper portion, a
ring member includes a peripheral fence engaged into the opened
upper portion of the container member. The plate includes at least
one stud extended therefrom and having the screw hole formed in the
stud. The bottom board includes at least one stud extended
therefrom and having the orifice formed through the stud.
[0013] A toilet brush may further be provided and selectively
engaged into the chamber of the container member. A ring member
includes a peripheral fence engaged into the container member and
includes an inner peripheral shoulder formed therein, the toilet
brush includes a brush member disposed on a shank, and a cover
having an aperture formed therein for detechably attaching to the
shank and for engaging with the inner peripheral shoulder of the
container member and for blocking the container member.
[0014] A toilet sucker may further be provided and selectively
engaged into the chamber of the container member. The toilet sucker
includes a sucker member disposed on a shank, and a cover having an
aperture formed therein for detachably attaching to the shank and
for engaging with the inner peripheral shoulder of the container
member and for blocking the container member. A cushioning pad may
further be provided and attached onto a bottom portion of the
bottom board and the frame.
[0015] Further objectives and advantages of the present invention
will become apparent from a careful reading of the detailed
description provided hereinbelow, with appropriate reference to the
accompanying drawings.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
[0016] FIG. 1 is a partial exploded view of a container in
accordance with the present invention;
[0017] FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the container for receiving
or containing the toilet brushes;
[0018] FIG. 3 is a plan schematic view of the container in which a
portion of the container has been cut off or removed for showing
the inner structure of the container;
[0019] FIG. 4 is an exploded view of the container;
[0020] FIG. 5 is a perspective view illustrating a base plate of
the container; and
[0021] FIG. 6 is a partial exploded view similar to FIG. 1
illustrating the other arrangement of the container.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
[0022] Referring to the drawings, and initially to FIG. 1, a
container 2 in accordance with the present invention comprises a
container body or member 20 for selectively receiving or containing
a toilet brush 50 and/or a toilet sucker 60 (FIG. 6). For example,
as shown in FIGS. 1-4, the container body or member 20 includes a
tubular or cylindrical structure having an inner peripheral flange
21 curved and folded radially and inwardly from the lower portion
22 thereof, and having an opened upper portion 23. A rim or ring
member 24 includes a narrowed or diameter reduced peripheral fence
25 extended downwardly therefrom for engaging into the opened upper
portion 23 of the container member 20, and includes an inner
peripheral shoulder 26 formed therein.
[0023] A base device 30 includes a base plate 31 to be engaged into
an inner chamber 28 of the container member 20 and having a
peripheral recess 32 formed in the lower or bottom portion thereof
for engaging with or for receiving the peripheral flange 21 of the
container member 20, best shown in FIG. 3. It is preferable that
the base plate 31 is sealingly engaged into the inner chamber 28 of
the container member 20 with a force-fitted engagement for forming
a water-tight seal between the container member 20 and the base
plate 31. The base plate 31 further includes one or more (such as
four) studs 33 extended downwardly therefrom and each having a
screw hole 34 formed therein (FIG. 5).
[0024] A frame 35 includes a peripheral bulge 36 extended upwardly
therefrom for engaging onto the outer and/or lower portion 22 of
the container member 20, and includes a peripheral rib 37 extended
radially and inwardly therefrom for forming an upper peripheral
shoulder 38 therein and for stably receiving or anchoring the outer
and/or lower portion 22 of the container member 20, also best shown
in FIG. 3. The frame 35 further includes an inner peripheral
shoulder 39 formed in the lower or bottom portion thereof for
receiving a bottom board 40 therein. The bottom board 40 also
includes one or more (such as four) studs 41 extended therein and
aligned with the studs 33 of the base plate 31 and each having an
orifice 42 formed therein and aligned with the screw holes 34 of
the base plate 31 for receiving a fastener 43 therein.
[0025] The fasteners 43 may be engaged through the orifices 42 of
the bottom board 40 and may be threaded or engaged with the screw
holes 34 of the base plate 31 for solidly securing the bottom board
40 to the base plate 31 (FIG. 3), and also for solidly securing the
frame 35 between the bottom board 40 and the base plate 31, and
also for solidly and detachably securing the frame 35 and the
bottom board 40 and the base plate 31 to the lower portion 22 of
the container member 20. It is further preferable that a cushioning
pad 44 is further provided and attached or secured onto the bottom
portion of the bottom board 40 and/or the frame 35 for such as
anti-slipping purposes.
[0026] In operation, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 6, either of the
toilet brushes 50 and/or either of the toilet suckers 60 may be
engaged into the inner chamber 28 of the container member 20 which
may also be provided for receiving the water or the detergent or
the other cleaning agent therein. For example, the toilet brushes
50 each include a brush member 51 disposed or provided on the lower
portion of a shank 52, and a cover 53 having an aperture 54 formed
therein for detachably or removably attaching to the shank 52 and
for selectively engaging with the inner peripheral shoulder 26 of
the container member 20 and for suitably blocking or sealing the
container member 20.
[0027] Similarly, the toilet suckers 60 each also include a sucker
member 61 disposed or provided on the lower portion of a shank 62,
and a cover 63 having an aperture 64 formed therein for detachably
or removably attaching to the shank 62 and for selectively engaging
with the inner peripheral shoulder 26 of the container member 20
and for suitably blocking or sealing the container member 20. After
use, the frame 35 and the bottom board 40 and the base plate 31 may
be detached or disassembled from the lower portion 22 of the
container member 20 for allowing the container member 20 to be
easily cleaned.
[0028] Accordingly, the container in accordance with the present
invention includes a detachable or disengageable structure for
selectively receiving or containing the toilet brush and/or the
toilet sucker and for allowing the container to be easily
disassembled for cleaning purposes.
[0029] Although this invention has been described with a certain
degree of particularity, it is to be understood that the present
disclosure has been made by way of example only and that numerous
changes in the detailed construction and the combination and
arrangement of parts may be resorted to without departing from the
spirit and scope of the invention as hereinafter claimed.
