MULTIFUNCTION BADMINTON UNIT
Abstract
A multifunction badminton unit includes a badminton racket and a
badminton. The badminton racket is provided with plural luminous
elements, a control switch and a buzzer mutually connected by an
electric wire, and the head of the badminton is also provided with
plural luminous elements, a control switch and a buzzer connected
together by an electric wire. The control switches of the badminton
racket and the badminton head are respectively actuated to start a
cell to produce electric energy to be transmitted by the electric
wire to the buzzer or to the luminous elements for giving out
sounds or light. In addition, the nets of the badminton racket are
coated with fluorescent paint. Thus, the badminton can conveniently
be played at night or at a dim place by means of light of the
luminous elements or the fluorescent paint and the sounds of the
buzzer.

Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0001] 1. Field of the Invention
[0002] This invention relates to a badminton unit, particularly to
one including a badminton racket and a badminton respectively
provided with luminous elements and a buzzer for giving out light
and sounds so that badminton can conveniently be played at night or
at a place with insufficient light.
[0003] 2. Description of the Prior Art
[0004] As commonly known, badminton is one of the most popular
sports liked by most people because badminton can be played at a
small plane place, and playing badminton can be self-adjusted in
playing time as well in exertion according to player's stamina.
Badminton is usually played during the day with sufficient
sunlight, seldom played at night or at a place with insufficient
light unless good illuminating equipment is provided for use.
However, good illuminating equipment specially used for sports is
only installed at a special playground or in a special ball playing
court, and no special lighting for playing ball is provided in a
common park and a plaza. Badminton is small in size so it can
hardly be played at night or at a dim place.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0005] The objective of this invention is to offer a multifunction
badminton unit including a badminton racket and a badminton. The
badminton racket is provided with a plurality of luminous elements,
a control switch and a buzzer connected to one another by an
electric wire. The head of the badminton is also disposed with
plural luminous elements, a control switch and a buzzer mutually
connected by an electric wire. The control switches of the
badminton racket and the badminton head are respectively driven to
start a cell to produce electric energy to be transmitted by the
electric wires to the buzzer or the luminous elements for giving
out sounds or light. Further, the nets of the badminton racket are
coated thereon with fluorescent paint. By so designing, the
badminton can conveniently be played at night or at a dim place by
means of the light of the luminous elements or the fluorescent
paint and the sound of the buzzer.

invention.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
[0014] A preferred embodiment of a multifunction badminton unit in
the present invention, as shown in FIGS. 1-7, includes a badminton
racket 1 and a badminton 2.
[0015] The badminton racket 1 consists of a hitting face 12 having
its outer circumferential wall disposed with lots of luminous
elements 16 spaced apart and having its nets applied thereon with
fluorescent paint if necessary. The hitting face 12 has its lower
end extending downward and formed with a hollow handle 11 provided
in the interior with an electric wire 17 having its opposite ends
respectively connected with the luminous elements 16 on the outer
circumferential wall of the hitting face 12 and with a control
switch 13 in the hollow handle 11. Thus, when the switch button 14
of the control switch 13 is started, electric energy can be
transmitted to the luminous elements 16 for emitting light. In
addition, the control switch 13 in the hollow handle 11 is provided
with a cell holder 18 for receiving a cell 19 therein, and the
switch button 14 is to control the cell 19 to produce electric
energy. The control switch 13 is further provided thereon with a
buzzer 15 for giving out sounds when the cell 19 produces electric
energy.
[0016] The badminton 2 is composed of a head 21 and a plurality of
feathers 22 fixed on the inner circumferential edge of the head 21.
A badminton control switch 23 is installed at a location between
the interior of the head 21 and the feathers 22, disposed thereon
with luminous elements 16 for emitting light, a buzzer 15 for
giving out sounds, a cell holder 18 for placing a cell 19 therein,
and a switch button 14 for controlling the cell 19 to produce
electricity. The luminous elements 16 and the buzzer 15 are
connected with each other and then connected to the switch button
14 on the badminton control switch 23 to be controlled by the
switch button 14 to give out or stop giving out light and
sounds.
[0017] In using and operating of the badminton racket, after the
cell 19 is positioned in the cell holder 18 in the hollow handle 11
of the badminton racket 1, the switch button 14 on the control
switch 13 is started to let the cell 19 produce electric energy.
Synchronously, the electric energy produced by the cell 19 will be
transmitted by the electric wire 17 to both the buzzer 15 on the
control switch 13 and the luminous elements 16 on the outer
circumferential wall of the hitting face 12 for giving out light
and sounds.
[0018] In using and operating of the badminton, after the cell 19
is received in the cell holder 18 in the badminton control switch
23, the switch button 14 on the badminton control switch 23 is
started to let the cell 19 in the badminton control switch 23
generate electric energy. Simultaneously, the electric energy will
be transmitted through the electric wire 17 to both the luminous
elements 16 and the buzzer 15 on the badminton control switch 23
for giving out light and sounds.
[0019] While the preferred embodiment of the invention has been
described above, it will be recognized and understood that various
modifications may be made therein and the appended claims are
intended to cover all such modifications that may fall within the
spirit and scope of the invention.
