Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] 1. Field of the Invention

[0002] The present invention relates to an improved umbrella handle structure, and particularly to an improved umbrella handle structure which can be assembled with an umbrella rapidly so that the assembly time and cost therefor can be saved.

[0003] 2. Description of the Prior Art

[0004] For an umbrella, an umbrella handle is indispensable so that a user can hold the umbrella for sunburn and rain isolation purposes, any kind of umbrellas is alike. In structure, the umbrella handle is generally disposed at the distal end of a post located at the center of the umbrella. However, there are still some shortcomings associated with the conventional umbrella handle: (1) Since the handle is made of a rigid material, the user can not feel comfortable when holding it. (2) Since the handle is assembled by fixing two positioning seats with a screw, it is time consuming and increased in the cost of the screw for the handle.

[0005] In view of the above, the conventional umbrella handle structure has still something to be improved. After a long term research and experiment, such improved umbrella handle structure is finally developed and taken as the present invention.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0006] It is, therefore, present invention is to provide an improved umbrella handle structure which is assembled in a snap fitting manner so that the assembly work therefor can be achieved with lower labor time and cost.

[0007] The present invention is to provide an improved umbrella handle structure in which silicon glue is filled so that the user can be brought a feel of softness and comfort when holding the umbrella handle.

[0008] According to the present invention, the improved umbrella handle structure comprises a main body shaped as a dumbbell shape and having a through-hole, an upper end and a lower end, wherein the through-hole running through the upper and lower ends, a first positioning seat having a fastening portion, a second positioning seat having a thread hole therein, wherein the fastening portion and the fastening hole are fastened to each other so that the first and second positioning seats are fixedly engaged to the main body, a soft glue cap under which the main body is sleeved so that a closed space is formed between the soft glue cap and the main body, wherein a silicon glue is filled within the closed space so that a comfort feel may be brought to a user holding an umbrella having the umbrella handle structure.

[0009] These features and advantages of the present invention will be fully understood and appreciated from the following detailed description of the accompanying Drawings.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0010] FIG. 1 is an exploded view of an umbrella handle structure according to the present invention;

[0011] FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the umbrella handle structure according to the present invention;

[0012] FIG. 3 is a cross sectional view of the umbrella handle structure according to the present invention;

[0013] FIG. 4 is a schematic diagram of implementation of the umbrella handle structure according to the present invention; and

[0014] FIG. 5 is a cross sectional view of implementation of the umbrella handle structure according to the present invention;

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIM61eji31ENT

[0015] Referring to FIG. 1 through FIG. 3, an improved umbrella handle structure comprises a main body 1, a first positioning seat 2, a second positioning seat 3, a soft glue cap 4 an upper and lower mask 51, 52.

[0016] The main body 1 is shaped approximately as a dumbbell having an upper and lower ends. A through-hole 11 runs through the main body 1 from the upper end to the lower end. A slot 12 is connected respectively to a side of the upper and lower ends (the upper side and the lower side). The first positioning seat 2 has a staged cap rim 21. A fastening portion 22 extends from a center of the cap rim 21. A fastening rim 23 is disposed circumferentially with respect to the cap rim 21. The fastening portion 22 of the first positioning seat 2 is inserted into the through-hole 11 of the main body 1 through the lower side of the main body 1. As such, the front side of the cap rim 21 of the first positioning seat 2 is received within the slot 12 at the lower side of the main body 1. The fastening hole 31 at the lower end of the second positioning seat 3 is inserted into the through-hole 11 of the main body 1. As such, the fastening hole 31 of the second positioning seat 3 and the fastening portion 22 of the first positioning seat 2 are fastened to each other. Correspondingly, the first and second positioning seats 2, 3 are fixedly engaged in the main body 1. And a front end of the cap rim 33 of the second positioning seat 3 is received within the slot 12 at the upper side of the main body 1.

[0017] A fastening hole 31 is disposed at a lower end 31 of the second positioning seat 3 and a staged cap rim 33 is disposed at an upper end of the second positioning seat 3. A thread hole 32 is disposed within the cap rim 33 for connection with a post of the umbrella. A fastening rim 34 is disposed on the cap rim 33.

[0018] The soft glue cap 4 takes a hollow shape and has an upper side and a lower side. The upper and lower sides of the soft glue cap 4 tapers and extend outside a stop rim 41. The upper and lower sides further extend from the stop rim 41 to form a stop piece 41 of "L" shape. The main body 1 is sleeved in the soft glue cap 4 in a manner that the stop rim 41 of the upper and lower sides of the soft glue cap 4 and the upper and lower ends of the main body 1 stop against each other. At this time, a stop piece 42 of the soft glue cap 4 enters the slot 12 of the main body 1. Correspondingly, the sop piece 42 urges against the wall of the slot 12 at one end and the walls of the respective cap rims 21, 33 of the first and second positioning seat 2, 3, so that an closed space is formed between the main body 1 and the soft glue cap 5, within which silicon glue 7 is filled.

[0019] The upper and lower masks 51, 52 cover the cap rims 21, 33 of the first and second positioning seats 2, 3, respectively, and are fasten to the fastening rims 23, 34 on the cap rims 21, 33, respectively, so that the stop rim 41 of the soft glue cap 4 is closely urged, with which the umbrella handle is provided with a visually pleasant effect.

[0020] Referring to FIG. 4 and FIG. 5, which are a schematic diagram and a cross sectional view of implementation of the umbrella handle structure according to the present invention. On the second positioning seat 3, a thread hole 32 for fixation of the post 6 of the umbrella is provided. The blot 32 may have an aperture whose dimension may vary as that of the post 6 changes. As such, the umbrella handle may be connected and thus used with any post 6 which may be suitable for supporting the umbrella. Furthermore, since silicon glue 7 is filled between the soft glue cap 4 and the main body 1, the user can be brought a feel of softness and comfort when holding the umbrella handle.

[0021] As compared to the prior art, the improved umbrella handle structure of the present invention further has the following advantages: (1) Since the umbrella handle is assembled in a snap fitting manner, the assembly work can be achieved with lower labor time and cost. (2) Since silicon glue is filled in the umbrella handle, the user can be brought a feel of softness and comfort when holding the umbrella handle. Since the umbrella handle provides a novel spacious arrangement and some efficacies, it should be deemed having novelty and nonobviousness.

[0022] Many changes and modifications in the above described embodiment of the invention can, of course, be carried out without departing from the scope thereof. Accordingly, to promote the progress in science and the useful arts, the invention is disclosed and is intended to be limited only by the scope of the appended claims.
