Description

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The present invention relates to steam oven doors, and more particularly to a hinge device of a steam oven door capable of capable of preventing interference between the oven door and the water tray, wherein the oven door of the present invention will not interfere with the water tray. The oven door and the outer lateral wall of the water tray can be on the same plane, making the outlook of the present invention more visually appealing.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0002] Referring to FIG. 1, a steam oven of the prior art has a boxy case 10 having a bottom water tray 11. To open the boxy case 10, the oven door 12 is rotated downward about the pivotal side along the bottom thereof, so that the food inside the boxy case 10 can be taken out. However, the oven door 12 being rotated will inevitably interfere with the water tray 11; therefore, the outer edge of the water tray 11 is located under the boxy case 10 with a distance from the pivotal side of the oven door 12. This configuration is inconvenient to people who want to reach the water tray 11. Further, since the interface between the water tray 11 and the oven door 12 is recessed, the outlook of the steam oven will be negatively influenced.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0003] Accordingly, the primary objective of the present invention is to provide a hinge device of a steam oven door capable of preventing interference between the oven door and the water tray.

[0004] A hinge device of a steam oven door comprises a mount provided with a slide slot thereon, which is installed on an inner lateral wall of an oven case. A roller wheel is slidably mounted in the slide slot. One side of the mount is pivotally installed with a rotary beam provided with a spring; the free end of the spring is fixed on the lateral wall of the oven case. The opposite side of the mount is provided with a push beam with one end pivotally connected to the roller wheel and the rotary beam. The rotary beam is pivotally connected to a link beam with second end pivotally connected to a curved element, whose one end is in turn pivotally connected to the mount. The other end of the curved element is pivotally connected to a transmission beam. One end of the push beam is pivotally connected to the transmission beam, and the other end is connected to the inner wall of the oven door. Thereby, the oven door is mounted on the front side of the steam oven.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0005] FIG. 1 is a side view of a steam oven of the prior art.

[0006] FIG. 2 is a perspective view of a hinge device of a steam oven door of the present invention, wherein the oven door is open.

[0007] FIG. 3 is an exploded perspective view of a hinge device of a steam oven door in FIG. 2.

[0008] FIG. 4 is a perspective view of a hinge device of a steam oven door in FIG. 2.

[0009] FIG. 5 is a side view of the present invention attached to a closed steam oven door.

[0010] FIG. 6 is a side view of the present invention attached to a partially open steam oven door.

[0011] FIG. 7 is a side view of the present invention attached to a fully open steam oven door.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0012] The various objects and advantages of the present invention will be more readily understood from the following detailed description when read in conjunction with the appended drawings.

[0013] Referring to FIGS. 2, 3, and 4, a hinge device of a steam oven door accordingly to the present invention comprises a mount 20, a rotary beam 3, a push beam 4, a link beam 5, a curved element 6, a transmission beam 7 and an oven door 8. The mount 20 is provided with a slide slot 21 in which a roller wheel 24 is slidably mounted. The mount 20 is further provided with a pair of through holes 22, 23. The rotary beam 3 is pivotally connected to the roller wheel 24 on a first side of the mount 20 by inserting a pivot piece 30 through a through hole 31 on the rotary beam 3 and the through hole 22. The rotary beam 3, having three through holes 31, 32, 33 and an upper ear part 34, is linked to a first end of a spring 35 hooked at the ear part 34. A second end of the spring 35 is fixed on a lateral inner wall of the oven case 2. The push beam 4, having a pair of through holes 40, 41, is pivotally attached on a second side of the mount 20 by inserting a pivot piece 36 through the through hole 33, the roller wheel 24 and the through hole 40. A first end of the push beam 4 is pivotally connected to the roller wheel 24 and the rotary beam 3. The link beam 5 has a first end pivotally connected to the bottom end of the rotary beam 3 by inserting a pivot piece 50 through a through hole 51 and the through hole 33. The curved element 6 has a first end pivotally connected to a second end of the link beam 5 by inserting a pivot piece 60 through a through hole 61 and the through hole 23, so that the curved element 6 is attached to the mount 20. The transmission beam 7 is pivotally connected to a second end of the curved element 6 by inserting a pivot piece 63 through a through hole 70 and another through hole 64. The transmission beam 7 is further pivotally connected to a second end of the push beam 4 by inserting a pivot piece 71 through a through hole 72 and the through hole 41. The oven door 8 to which a main section of the transmission beam 7 is attached.

[0014] To use a steam oven door equipped with the present invention, as shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, when the oven door 8 is being opened, the transmission beam 7 attached on the inner wall of the oven door 8 will drive the curved element 6 to rotate about the pivot piece 60, and the push beam 4 is pulled by the transmission beam 7, thereby driving one end of the rotary bean 3 and the roller wheel 24 to slide along the slide slot 21. Accordingly, the rotary beam 3 will urge the link beam 5 to stretch the spring 35, and the other end of the link beam 5 will be driven by the curved element 6. When the oven door 8 is opened slightly, it will be supported by the push beam 4 and the curved element 6 to be lifted upward, as shown in FIG. 6, whereby the bottom side of the oven door 8 will not collided with the water tray 25 disposed on the bottom of the oven case 2. As the oven door 8 is further opened and extended outward, the transmission beam 7 will continue to drive the curved element 6 and the push beam 4, whereby the rotary beam 3, the curved element 6 and the push beam 4 will move in accordance with the curve defined by the slide slot 21. Therefore, the outward flip of the oven door 8 will also follow the curve defined by the slide slot 21 and will not interfere with the water tray 25. The bottom side of the oven door 8 and the outer side of the water tray 25 can be designed to be close together, achieving a better outlook of the steam oven.

[0015] According to the above description, the present invention has the advantages as follows.

[0016] 1. The oven door of the present invention will not interfere with the water tray.

[0017] 2. The oven door and the outer lateral wall of the water tray can be on the same plane, making the outlook of the present invention more visually appealing.

[0018] The present invention is thus described, and it will be obvious that the same may be varied in many ways. Such variations are not to be regarded as a departure from the spirit and scope of the present invention, and all such modifications as would be obvious to one skilled in the art are intended to be included within the scope of the following claims.
