Mounting clip

Abstract

The mounting clip is different from other tabs and brackets because it clips right on to the opening cut out, top and bottom in seconds without any drilling for screws to hold the clip in place, making the lock installation faster and secure.

1. a simple clip for the locksmith who would want a quick installation of a pair of clips made for mounting and reinforcing a lock in hollow aluminum doors that have no tabs or brackets existing.
Description



[0001] The Mounting Clip would be made of a thin but very strong and sturdy metal that would be bent into the necessary shapes and angles enabling anyone in the locksmith industry to understand the logic and convenience of this conception when installing a lock in an aluminum hollow metal door.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0002] This clip is for fast and easy installations of locks in hollow aluminum doors. Not like other brackets that have to be drilled and screwed, this clip just slides on to the frame cut out securely.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0003] This mounting clip can be used by a locksmith who have made a new cut out in a hollow aluminum metal frame door for a new installation of a lock by installing one clip on top and bottom of cut out in seconds.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0013] The lock mounting clip would be made of a light, thin, sturdy metal which would be bent into the described bends, curves and angles making the invention a lot faster for lock installations in aluminum doors with no mounting tabs or brackets by clipping right on to the top and bottom of the lock cut out.
