Description

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The present invention relates to a vehicle mat having a deformable frame enclosing the base so that the shape of the mat can be easily set to meet the requirements before being installed in a car.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0002] A conventional vehicle mat is shown in FIG. 1 and generally includes an irregular layer 10 and a base 20 on which the irregular layer 10 is fixed. The irregular layer 10 is composed of a plurality of irregular wires 101 so that a plurality of apertures 102 are defined between the wires 101. By the apertures 102 when the user's shoes scrub on the irregular layer 10, foreign objects can be scraped from the shoes and collected on the base 20 through the apertures 102. Two Velcro belts 103 and 201 are respectively connected along two respective peripheries of the irregular layer 10 and the base 20 so that the irregular layer 10 and the base 20 can be connected with each other. However, the irregular wires 101 are pulled out from the irregular layer 10 after a period of time of use and the number of apertures 102 are reduced so that the term of use of the conventional mat is short. Besides, because the irregular layer 10 and the base 20 are soft so that the conventional mat 10 cannot fixed its shape which is to be matched with the space of vehicles of different sizes. Therefore, the periphery of the mat 10 folds upward and inward and could tangle the user's feet.

[0003] The present invention intends to provide a vehicle mat which includes an irregular layer connected on a base and a deformable frame encloses the base so that the mat is deformed and set its shape to meet the space that is to be installed with the mat.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0004] The present invention relates to a vehicle mat which includes an irregular layer having a plurality of irregular wires and apertures are defined between the irregular wires. The irregular layer is connected on a base by Velcro belts on the irregular layer and the base. A plurality of support protrusions extend from a top of the base and a plurality of anti-slip protrusions extend from an underside of the base. A deformable frame is connected to the base and encloses the base.

[0005] The primary object of the present invention is to provide a vehicle mat that can be easily set its shape by the deformable frame enclosing the base so that the mat can be easily set to fit the space of different cars.

[0006] The present invention will become more obvious from the following description when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings which show, for purposes of illustration only, a preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0007] FIG. 1 is a cross sectional view to show a conventional vehicle mat;

[0008] FIG. 2 is an exploded view to show the vehicle mat of the present invention;

[0009] FIG. 3 shows the irregular layer and the base of the vehicle mat of the present invention;

[0010] FIG. 4 is a perspective view to show the vehicle mat of the present invention, and

[0011] FIG. 5 is a cross sectional view to show the vehicle mat of the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

[0012] Referring to FIGS. 2 to 5, the vehicle mat of the present invention comprises a an irregular layer 1 having a plurality of irregular wires 11 and a plurality of apertures 111 are defined between the irregular wires 11. The irregular layer 1 can be made of Polyurethane (PU), Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), Polypropylene (PP) or Poly-functional Compound (PC). The irregular wires 11 of the irregular layer 1 can be made of rubber, plastic, leather or fabrics.

[0013] A base 2 on which the irregular layer 11 is connected and the base 2 can be made by rubber. A plurality of support protrusions 21 extend from a top of the base 2 so as to define multiple spaces between the support protrusions 21, the base 2 and the irregular layer 11. The spaces make the mat to be soft and includes cushion feature. A plurality of anti-slip protrusions 22 extend from an underside of the base 2 so that the mat can be well positioned. Two Velcro belts 13 and 23 are respectively connected along two respective peripheries of the irregular layer 1 and the base 2 so that the irregular layer 1 and the base 2 are connected with each other by the two Velcro belts 13, 23.

[0014] A deformable frame 24 made of metal material such as steel is connected to the base 2 and encloses the base 2.

[0015] Before installing the mat into a car, the user may bend the deformable frame 24 to set a desired shape of the mat so that the mat can easily fit the space to be installed. The periphery of the mat has a certain level of stiffness so that it does not fold upward and can be smoothly matched with the interior of the space to be installed. The irregular layer 1 and the base 2 can be easily separated by separating the two Velcro belts 13, 23 so that the two parts can be cleaned up.

[0016] While we have shown and described the embodiment in accordance with the present invention, it should be clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
