2. The hex wrench storage device as claimed in claim 1, wherein each of the two press plates and the upright plate of each of the press devices have an included angle greater than 90 degrees.

3. The hex wrench storage device as claimed in claim 1, wherein each of the two press plates and the upright plate of each of the press devices have an included angle equal to 120 degrees.

4. The hex wrench storage device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the hex wrench storage device comprises two pivotally connected said bodies having the same structure with a different size.

5. The hex wrench storage device as claimed in claim 1, wherein each of the receiving recesses of the body has a depression at the first opening, so that when the hex wrench is taken, the lower end of the hex wrench is inclined toward the depression, thereby providing a better angle to facilitate a user taking the hex wrench.
Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] 1. Field of the Invention

[0002] The present invention relates to a device for storing hex wrenches and more particularly to such a hex wrench storage device that can firmly hold hex wrenches therein.

[0003] 2. Description of the Related Art

[0004] A conventional wrench storage device comprises a wrench insertion recess for mounting a wrench. The wrench insertion recess has an upper section and a lower section each formed with a clamping snap for positioning the wrench in the wrench insertion recess. However, the clamping snap of the lower section of the wrench insertion recess only clamps the two sides of the wrench, so that the lower end of the wrench easily slips from the clamping snap of the lower section of the wrench insertion recess, and the wrench easily falls onto the ground.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0005] The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a hex wrench storage device, wherein the hex wrench will not fall easily when being taken.

[0006] Another objective of the present invention is to provide a hex wrench storage device, wherein the hex wrenches are individually taken easily.

[0007] The present invention has been accomplished under the circumstances in view. It is an object of the present invention to provide a hex wrench storage device, which comprises two bodies each having a first face and a second face opposite to the first face. The first face forms a plurality of receiving recesses having different width for receiving a plurality of hex wrenches having different sizes. Each of the receiving recesses has a first opening and a second opening at two ends thereof. The hex wrench storage device further comprises a plurality of press devices each including an upright plate and two press plates. The upright plate is extended outward from a center of an outer side of any two first openings of the first face of the body. The two press plates are extended from a top of the upright plate in two opposite directions. Each of the two press plates is respectively located at a position above the first face and extended toward the first opening of the respective receiving recess corresponding to the upright plate.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0008] FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a hex wrench storage device according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention.

[0009] FIG. 2 is a plan view of the hex wrench storage device according to the preferred embodiment of the present invention.

[0010] FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view of the hex wrench storage device taken along line A-A as shown in FIG. 2.

[0011] FIG. 4 is a schematic operational view of the hex wrench storage device as shown in FIG. 3.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0012] Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, a hex wrench storage device 1 in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention is shown comprising a first body 10 and a second body 20 having the same structure with a different size, a connecting member 2 pivotally connected between the first body 10 and the second body 20, and a plurality of press devices 30. Each of the first body 10 and the second body 20 has a first face 11 and a second face 12 opposite to the first face 11. The first face 11 has a plurality of baffles 13 forming a plurality of receiving recesses 14 having different width for receiving a plurality of hex wrenches 40 having different sizes. Each of the receiving recesses 14 has a first opening 15 and a second opening 16 at two ends thereof. Each of the press devices 30 has an upright plate 31 and two press plates 32. The upright plate 31 is extended outward from a center of an outer side of any two first openings 15 of the first face 11 of each of the first body 10 and the second body 20. Each of the two press plates 32 is made of a soft elastomer. The two press plates 32 are extended from the top of the upright plate 31 in two opposite directions. Each of the two press plates 32 is respectively located at a position above the first face 11 and extended toward the first opening 15 of the respective receiving recess 14 corresponding to the upright plate 31. Each of the two press plates 32 and the upright plate 31 of each of the press devices 30 have an included angle greater than 90 degrees or equal to 120 degrees, so that the distance between the two respective press plates 32 of any two press devices 30 is smaller than two third of the width of the respective receiving recess 14. Each second opening 16 has two catch plates 33 each made of a soft elastomer. The two catch plates 33 are located at two sides of the second opening 16 of each of the receiving recesses 14. Each of the two catch plates 33 has a front end which is extended toward the second opening 16, so that the distance between the fronts ends of the two catch plates 33 is smaller than two third of the width of the respective receiving recess 14.

[0013] Referring to FIGS. 3 and 4, each of the receiving recesses 14 of the first body 10 and the second body 20 has a lower section having a depression 17 at the first opening 15. When the upper end of the hex wrench 40 is taken, the lower end of the hex wrench 40 is inclined toward the depression 17, so that the hex wrench 40 forms a better angle to facilitate a user taking the hex wrench 40. In addition, the distance between the two respective press plates 32 at the first opening 15 is smaller than two third of the width of the respective receiving recess 14. Thus, when the hex wrench 40 slips from the user's hand during the taking process, the hex wrench 40 is stopped by the two respective press plates 32, thereby preventing the hex wrench 40 from falling onto the ground.

[0014] Accordingly, each of the receiving recesses 14 of the first body 10 and the second body 20 has a depression 17 to provide a better taking angle to the hex wrench 40. In addition, when the user does not hold the upper end of the hex wrench 40 stably and the upper end of the hex wrench 40 is inclined forward and downward, the hex wrench 40 is supported by the press devices 30 of the first opening 15 of each of the receiving recesses 14. Thus, even when the hex wrench 40 is inclined relative to the first body 10 and the second body 20, the hex wrench 40 will not fall from the first body 10 and the second body 20, thereby overcoming the drawbacks of conventional hex wrench storage device, and thereby facilitating the user taking the hex wrench 40.
