Abstract

Ash still has substantial energy left in it. Mixed with other materials like clay and/or mud and water it can be used to create more energy. This applicant is proposing the creation of ash briquettes to be used just like coal.

Claims



1. Ash that is produced by burning of coal has substantial energy left in it that can be further used to produce energy just like coal.

2. Ash mixed with clay and/or mud and water and then dried can be used to produce heat energy just like coal.

3. Ash briquettes will produce much less pollution.

4. Ash briquettes will solve the disposal problem of ash waste.

5. By producing ash briquettes the coal reserves will last much longer.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0004] 1. Field of Invention

[0005] This invention provides a new use for ash that is created by burning of coal by power generators and factories etc. This applicant has discovered that ash still has substantial energy left that can be used for cooking and other industrial uses.

[0006] 2. Background of the Invention

[0007] A huge amount of ash is produced by the burning of coal to power electrical generators and other factories. Ash waste is a big problem. Though some uses have been found to use up this ash no suitable solution has been found to put this colossal amount of ash to any substantial use. So far it is assumed that all the energy by completely burning coal is extracted and ash is a useless by product of no use to the energy industry. This applicant has found that ash mixed with potter's clay mixed with water and dried can again be burned for producing heat.

OBJECTS AND ADVANTAGES

[0008] Some of the objects and advantages are as follows: [0009] 1. The main aim is to extract as much energy as possible from a product that is assumed to have no more energy left. [0010] 2. By making ash briquettes the problem of what to do with ash waste will be solved. [0011] 3. As ash still contains energy ash briquettes will replace coal for bar-b-q and other cooking as well as industrial uses thus enabling coal reserves to last longer. [0012] 4. As ash briquettes' heat is softer chefs will discover foods that taste better when cooked with ash briquettes. [0013] 5. While coal burns off most of the pollution causing gases are released thus leaving ash with practically no pollution causing gasses to be released further. Thus ash briquettes will be a much cleaner energy source.

SUMMARY

[0014] In accordance with the present invention ash is mixed with clay with the help of water. Said mixture is dried. It is shaped like small briquettes and bricks. This product is used just like coal.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

[0015] Ash that is produced by burning of coal is taken and mixed with up to 25% clay. Three portions of ash are mixed with up to one portion of clay. This mixture is produced by adding water. Said mixture is poured into moulds shaped to produce briquettes and bricks. Said mixture is then dried.

[0016] Where clay is not available sieved mud can also be used. The main aim is to use up all the energy still left in the ash by using other materials to form lumps just like coal.
