Abstract

The Gift Card Box is a single unit designed to combine a `greetings card` and a `gift box` all-in-one. It is able to contain a gift of either a CD, DVD or Game (depending upon the Gift Card Box size) as well as acting as a greetings card. The Gift Card Box is an all-in-one unit made up entirely from a single sheet of carton board or heavyweight paper and replaces the need for a consumer to buy separate greetings card and gift wrapping material when giving either a CD, DVD or Game as a gift.

[0012] The Gift Card Box is an all-in-one unit made up entirely from a single sheet of carton board or heavyweight paper and replaces the need for a consumer to buy separate greetings card and gift wrapping material when giving either a CD, DVD or Game as a gift.

[0013] The main appearance of the design is a box with an integral folded flap at the front which acts as the card front and internal writing area inside for `greeting's wordings etc`.

[0014] The box has folding flaps at the top and bottom to secure the gift inside.

Construction Process

[0015] The Gift Card Box is made from a single sheet of carton board or heavyweight paper.

[0016] It will be printed, die cut and folded as per marks on FIG. 1.1 and FIG. 1.2

[0017] It will then be machine glued and finished as per folds and glue points on FIG. 1.3

[0018] The next stage is a small amount of hand assembly, where the box is pushed out and the folding flaps and secured top and bottom to form the finished product as per FIG. 1.4
