Sphere container
Abstract
The present invention is a sphere container including a main
body and several interchangeable caps, wherein the main body, being
an upper semi-sphere joining with a lower semi-sphere of a larger
diameter, having a top cut away to leave a circular opening for
connecting with a short hollow cylinder as a capped section and a
bottom cut away to form a base for standing on a surface, the cap
having a capping section corresponding to the capped section,
threads formed on the outer perimeter of the capped section and the
corresponding capping section, and patterns formed on the outer
surface of the sphere container, thereby enabling the sphere
container being in vivid sundry appearances like a football, a
basketball, or a baseball and having multiple applications when in
different caps.

Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0001] (a) Field of the Invention
[0002] The present invention relates to a sphere container and more
particularly for a sphere container capping with three different
caps to provide a fresh looking as well as serve for various
applications.
[0003] (b) Description of the Prior Art
[0004] Referring to FIG. 1. A conventional container includes a
container main body b and a cap a, having connection section a1 and
b1 on the perimeter for making connection by threads formed
thereof. Defects would be one container can only be used for one
purpose and also the appearance can be too plain to attract
buyers.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0005] The present invention relates to a sphere container
including a main body and several interchangeable caps, wherein the
main body, being an upper semi-sphere joining with a lower
semi-sphere of a larger diameter, having a top cut away to leave a
circular opening for connecting with a short hollow cylinder as a
capped section and a bottom cut away to form a base for standing on
a surface, the first cap being a semi-sphere of the same diameter
as that of the lower semi-sphere and having a capping section,
threads formed on the outer perimeter of the capped section and the
corresponding capping section of the cap, and patterns formed on
outer surfaces of the first cap and the lower semi-sphere of the
main body. To extend product applications, the second cap can be
with a long rectangular hole on the center as the slot of a
money-box and the third cap with a semi-circular handle.
[0006] By capping the first cap on the main body, a sphere
container with beautiful patterns thereby formed. Similarly, when
capping the second cap, a money-box thereby formed and when having
the third cap, the container thereby being easy carried.
Furthermore, as the capping connection being in the interior of the
container and also the outer perimeter of the cap being firmly
secured on the rim of the main body, thereby capping stability
being enhanced, bugs being prevented from going inside, and water
being prevented from leaking.
[0007] To enable a further understanding of the said objectives and
the technological methods of the invention herein, the brief
description of the drawings below is followed by the detailed
description of the preferred embodiments.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWING
[0008] FIG. 1 shows an exploded elevational view of a conventional
container.
[0009] FIG. 2 shows an exploded elevational view of the present
invention.
[0010] FIG. 3A shows a perspective view of an application of the
present invention.
[0011] FIG. 3B shows a perspective view of another application of
the present invention.
[0012] FIG. 3C shows a perspective view of the third application of
the present invention.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0013] Referring to FIGS. 2 and 3A, B, and C. The present invention
is related to a sphere container including a main body 10 and three
interchangeable caps 20, wherein the main body 10, being an upper
semi-sphere joining with a lower semi-sphere of a larger diameter,
having a top cut away to leave a circular opening 11 for connecting
with a short hollow cylinder as a capped section 11a and a bottom
cut away to form a base 13 for standing on a surface, the first cap
20, being a semi-sphere of the same diameter as that of the lower
semi-sphere, having a capping section 21, threads 11a1 and 21a
formed on the outer perimeter of the capped section 11a and the
corresponding capping section 21 of the cap 20, respectively, and
patterns 12, being like that on a football, a basketball, or a
baseball, formed on outer surfaces of the first cap 20 and the
lower semi-sphere of the main body 10. To extend product
applications, the second cap 20 can be with a long rectangular hole
23 as the slot of a money-box and the third cap 20 with a
semi-circular handle 24.
[0014] In summary, the present invention of a sphere container is
both pragmatic and advanced for having a football-like appearance
with several interchangeable caps for different purposes.
[0015] It is of course to be understood that the embodiment
described herein is merely illustrative of the principles of the
invention and that a wide variety of modifications thereto may be
effected by persons skilled in the art without departing from the
spirit and scope of the invention as set forth in the following
