they have to answer their natural calling because they have to
release in an open environment without any covering. Even worse,
they have to resolve their natural calling in the rain when the
weather is rainy. In order to resolve the foregoing unavoidable
problems for people who like wilderness camping, a portable toilet
assembly has arisen to provide a private shelter to mitigate or
obviate them.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
[0013] A portable toilet assembly in accordance with the present
invention comprises a tent and a pedestal device. The tent is
composed of multiple frame loops (at least three frame loops) and a
cover detachably mounted on the multiple frame loops together. The
tent is collapsible. The pedestal device is composed of an upper
armrest frame, a lower holding frame and a receptacle mounted on
the lower holding frame. The upper armrest frame and the lower
holding frame are detachable from each other and respectively
foldable. Thereby, the portable toile assembly can be disassembled
conveniently and respectively diminished in its parts to ideal
portable sizes.
[0014] With reference to FIGS. 1 and 2, a preferred embodiment of
the portable toilet assembly comprises a tent 1 and a pedestal
device 2.
[0015] The tent 1 is dome-shaped and has four sides. The tent 1 is
composed of four frame loops 11 combined together and a cover 12
detachably mounted over the four frame loops 11. Each frame loop 11
is substantially egg-shaped and has a narrow top, a broad bottom
and two side rods connected between the narrow top and the broad
bottom. When the frame loops 11 are assembled and connected to each
other, each side rod of one frame loop 11 is pivotally connected to
a side rod of an adjacent frame loop 11 by sleeves (now shown) or
the similar. All the narrow tops of the frame loops 11 are inclined
slightly inward, and all the broad bottoms of the frame loops 11
abut the ground. Thereby, a dome-shaped tent frame with the four
sides is achieved. The cover 12 is made of waterproof cloth and
shaped into a dome shape corresponding to the tent frame.
Therefore, the cover 12 has four faces, an entryway 121 formed in
one face of the cover 12 and a door leaf 122 covering the entryway
121. The cover 12 further has a zipper 123 attached between edges
of the door leaf 122 and the entryway 121 to keep the door leaf 122
on the cover 12 without fluttering with the wind. When the tent 1
is disassembled, the cover 12 is separated from the tent frame and
foldable to become a small pack.
[0016] With reference to FIGS. 3 and 4, the pedestal device 2
comprises a mounting structure, a receptacle 23, a seat pad 24, and
a lid 25. The mounting structure is composed of an upper armrest
frame 21 and a lower holding frame 22 detachably combined with each
other.
[0017] The upper armrest frame 21 comprises two U-shaped arms 211,
two T-shaped connectors 212 and an extending rod 213. Each U-shaped
arm 211 is a curved tube and has a front end, a rear end and a
middle portion extending between the front end and the rear end.
Each T-shaped connector 212 has a tube rotatably sleeving the rear
end of one U-shaped arm 211 and a short tube vertically attached to
a middle periphery of the tube. The extending rod 213 has two ends
respectively inserting into the short tubes of the two T-shaped
connectors 212 to achieve the upper armrest frame 21. By engaging
the T-shaped connectors 212 between the two U-shaped arms 211 and
the extending rod 213, the two U-shaped arms 211 enable to pivotal
inward to make the upper armrest frame 21 foldable to diminish its
size. The folded upper armrest frame 21 is shown in FIG. 5.
[0018] The lower holding frame 22 comprises two H-shaped stands and
two foldable connecting strips 222. Each H-shaped stand has two
feet 221 and a middle bar 224 extending between the two feet 221.
The two foldable connecting strips 222 symmetrically connect
between the middle bars 224 of the two H-shaped stands. Thereby,
the lower holding frame 22 is achieved. Each foot 221 on the
H-shaped stand has a top insertion 223 correspondingly and
detachably engaging the front end or the rear end of the U-shaped
arm 211 of the upper armrest frame 21 by means of wedging.
Moreover, each foldable connecting strip 222 is composed of two
elongated pieces pivotally combining with each other at a joint and
has two distal ends respectively and pivotally engaging the middle
bar 224 on the two H-shaped stands. Therefore, the two H-shaped can
be pushed close to each other by bending joints of the foldable
connecting strips 222 outward as shown in FIG. 6 to diminish size
of the lower holding frame 22.
[0019] With particular reference to FIG. 3, the receptacle 23 is a
hexagonal basin with two side flanges and suspended between the two
foldable connecting strips 222 by resting the side flanges on the
two foldable connecting strips 222. The receptacle 23 preferably
contains a replaceable water-absorbing (or water-retaining)
material, such as sand or cotton, and an odor-eliminating agent for
hygiene reason. The seat pad 24 is an oval annular ring with a
bottom end and has two clips 241 formed at the bottom end to
pivotally attach to the middle bar 224 on the H-shaped stand that
engages the rear ends of the U-shaped arms 21. Therefore, the seat
pad 24 can selectively rest on the extending rod 213 of the upper
armrest frame 21 or mount over the receptacle 23. Preferably, the
lid 25 is oval corresponding to the seat pad 24 and also has two
clips 251 pivotally attach to the same middle bar 224 behind the
seat pad 24 to selectively cover the receptacle 23.
[0020] Although this invention has been described in its preferred
form with a certain degree of particularity, it is understood that
the present invention of the preferred form has been made only by
way of example and that numerous changes in the details of
construction and the combination and arrangement of parts any be
resorted to without departing from the spirit and scope of the
invention.
