Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0001] (a) Field of the Invention
[0002] The present invention relates to a smoke guiding machine,
and more particularly to a smoke guiding machine utilizing a
configuration whereby air walls are disposed around a gas stove.
The smoke guiding machine of the present invention is capable of
guiding smoke produced while cooking to an entrance of a smoke
exhaust, and therefrom discharging the smoke outdoors and
omnidirectionally isolating the smoke.
[0003] (b) Description of the Prior Art
[0004] A common kitchen gas stove is provided with a smoke exhaust
configured above the kitchen gas stove, and which is utilized for
discharging smoke to an upper portion of the kitchen gas stove.
However, because a specific distance exists between the smoke
exhaust and the gas stove, thus suction range of the smoke exhaust
cannot be effectively realized, resulting in a portion of remaining
smoke still contaminating kitchen utensils, which can also be
hazardous to lungs when inhaled.
[0005] Referring to Taiwan patent No. 383088, entitled air
Forwarding Device for Assisting Suction and Discharge of Smoke
Exhaust (hereinafter referred to as the first cited invention), and
Taiwan patent No. 479789, entitled Compelling Smoke Guiding Machine
(hereinafter referred to as the second cited invention), wherein a
positioning pole 3 is necessarily used for pivotally disposing a
air forwarding device 2 to a smoke exhaust 11 in the first cited
invention. However, a gas stove 12 as used in a household comes in
distinct dimensions, and, thus, the gas stove 12 having larger
dimensions is inapplicable for use in the first cited invention. In
addition, the air forwarding device 2 cannot be attached around the
gas stove 12 so as to form an integral unit with the gas stove
12.
[0006] A compelling smoke guiding machine A disclosed in the second
cited invention has a relatively complicated structure. The
compelling smoke guiding machine A comprises structural
configurations including a secondary arm 2, a pivotal arm 30, an
end cover 40, a transmission axis cover 50, an interconnecting pole
60, a cover assembly 70, a blower 80 and a blower fan axis 90.
Furthermore, the smoke guiding machine A can only be disposed in
front of a gas stove 11, and thus fails to function as an
omnidirectional smoke-isolating device. Above all, the compelling
smoke guiding machine A cannot be attached around the gas stove 11
so as to form an integral unit therewith.
[0007] The air forwarding device 2 and the compelling smoke guiding
machine of the first and second cited inventions respectively are
assembled using screw bolts and are thus labor intensive.
Furthermore, because the structural configurations of the two cited
inventions have invariable dimensions, thus the structural
configurations cannot be integrally combined with a conventional
gas stove unit having distinct dimensions. In addition, such prior
structural configurations are inadaptable to different heights
between the smoke exhaust and the gas stove in various households,
and are unable to effectuate adjusting appropriate air speeds for
forwarding and facilitating discharge of the smoke produced.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0008] A primary object of the present invention is to provide a
smoke guiding machine, wherein left and right member devices are
joined to a front member device by means of terminals and fixing
pins inserting into terminal ports and pin holes of the front
member device respectively, and the terminals being inserted into
the terminal ports can thereby actuate conductive flow of
electricity. Furthermore, inserting pins configured on left and
right member device casings of the front member device are
respectively fixedly inserted into inserting pin holes defined in
left and right casing covers respectively, thus realizing a
configuration that allows lifting of the casing covers when
required, and which thus facilitates an extremely convenient and
applicable jointing method for assembly of the smoke guiding
machine.
[0009] Another object of the present invention is to provide a
smoke guiding machine, wherein a button clasp is configured in an
indentation of each of the member device casings of the left and
right member devices. Furthermore, a clasp hook of each of the
button clasps respectively hook into a clasp hole of the respective
member device casing of the front member device, thereby fixing
position of the left and right member devices thereat. Upon wishing
to separate the left and right member devices from the front member
device, the button clasps are pressed to effectuate disengagement
of the left and right member devices from the front member
device.
[0010] Yet another object of the present invention is to provide a
smoke guiding machine, wherein screws ordinarily screw down the
left and right casing covers configured on an upper portion of the
left and right member device casings on two sides of the front
member device respectively, thus the left and right casing covers
are incapable of being opened, and prevents children from
arbitrarily opening the casing covers. When foreign bodies, such as
vegetable residue, and so on, are accidentally dropped into the
member device casings, the screws can be unscrewed thereby allowing
opening up of the casing covers to facilitate extracting the
vegetable residue and foreign bodies.
[0011] To enable a further understanding of the said objectives and
the technological methods of the invention herein, the brief
description of the drawings below is followed by the detailed

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0023] Referring to FIG. 1, the smoke guiding machine of the
present invention comprises a front member device 1, a left member
device 2 and a right member device 3 disposed at a front side, a
left side and a right side of a gas stove 10 respectively, and
which are integrally formed with a gas stove 10 (see FIG. 7).
[0024] The front member device 1 comprises a left casing 11, a
right casing 12, a left casing cover 110 and a right casing cover
120, and an air-speed tuner 13 fastened and connected between the
left casing cover 110 and the right casing cover 120. Air inlet
openings 1101 and 1201 are disposed on front sides of the left
casing cover 110 and the right casing cover 120 respectively, and
are provided with squirrel-cages 111, 121 and motors 112, 122
disposed interior thereof respectively, as depicted in FIG.6. The
squirrel-cages 111 and 121 are axially connected with axes of the
motors 112 and 122 respectively, which thereby allow the motors 112
and 122 to drive and rotate the squirrel-cages 111 and 121
respectively. Apart from appropriately adjusting air speed (because
height of smoke exhausts in individual households are different,
and therefore air speeds required also varies), the air-speed tuner
13 also serves as a power switch.
[0025] The left and right member devices 2 and 3 are identical
structures disposed at left and right sides of the front member
device 1 respectively. FIG. 1 only shows an exploded view of the
right member device 3. The left and right member devices 2 and 3
comprise member device casings 21 and 31 and casing covers 22 and
32 respectively. Referring to FIG. 6, the member device casings 21
and 31 are provided with squirrel-cages 211 and 311, and motors 212
and 312 respectively. Squirrel-cages 211 and 311 are axially
connected with axes of the motors 212 and 312 respectively, which
thereby allow the motors 212 and 312 to drive and rotate the
squirrel-cages 211 and 311 respectively. Air inlet openings 321 are
disposed in the casing cover 32 (air inlet openings being similarly
disposed in the casing cover 22 of the right member device). The
member device casing 31 is provided with a power supply connector
313 at one side thereof respectively, as depicted in FIG.5 (the
member device casing 21 being similarly provided with a power
supply connector at one side thereof). The smoke guiding machine of
the present invention is further improved in that:
[0026] Referring to FIG. 1, a same jointing method is employed for
joining the left member device 2 or the right member device 3 to
the front member device 1, thus, taking the right member device 3
and the front member device 1 as an example, wherein, one end of
the member device casing 31 of the right member device 3 is
provided with a terminal 314 and three fixing pins 315 (see FIG.
1A), and one end of the right member device casing 12 of the front
member device 1 is provided with a terminal port 14 and three pin
holes 15 (see FIG. 1B), which can respectively provide for the
terminals 314 and the three fixing pins 315 of the right member
device 3 to fixedly lodge thereinto respectively. The terminals 314
upon being inserted into the terminal port 14 can thereby actuate
conductive flow of electricity. Referring to FIGS. 2 and 3, which
show a button clasp 33 configured in an indentation 317 of one end
of the member device casing 31 of the right member device 3. An
inverted hook 331 respectively configured on an upper and a lower
end of the button clasp 33 hook onto respective protruding pieces
318 of inner edges of the indentation 317 of the member device
casing 31. A clasp post 332 at one end of the button clasp 33 then
extends into a post hole 319 defined in a side of the indentation
317 of the member device casing 31. A spring 34 is disposed on a
clasping pin 320 of an inner side of the member device casing 31,
and another end of the spring 34 abuts upon a side edge of the
button clasp 33. Furthermore, another end of the button clasp 33 is
provided with a clasp hook 333. The clasp hook 333 hooks into a
clasp hole 124 of the right member device casing 12 of the front
member device 1 (see FIG. 3), thus enabling the front member device
1 to fix position of the right member device 3. Upon wishing to
disconnect the front member device 1 from the right member device
3, the button clasp 33 must be pressed, whereat the button clasp 33
inwardly squeezes the spring 34, and the clasp hook 333 thus
disengages from clasping within the clasp hole 124 of the right
member device casing 12, and the right member device thereby
separates from the front member device.
[0027] Furthermore, a same jointing method is employed for joining
the left casing cover 110 and the right casing cover 120 of the
front member device 1 to the front member device 1, thus, taking
the right casing cover 120 as an example, as depicted in FIG. 4,
two oppositely directed inserting pins 123 are configured on a top
edge of an inner side of the right member device casing 12 of the
front member device 1 (see FIG. 4D), and inserting pin holes 1202
are respectively defined in two ends of the right casing cover 120,
and which provide for the inserting pins 123 to respectively insert
thereinto and thereby fix position thereat, thus realizing a
configuration that enables joining of the right casing cover 120 to
the right member device casing 12 and for lifting of the right
casing cover 120 when required. A screw 16 upwardly screws into a
bottom end of a front edge of the right casing cover 120 through a
base of the right member device casing 12, thereby solidly screwing
down the right casing cover 120 to the right member device casing
12, and thus preventing children from arbitrarily opening the right
casing cover 120. When foreign bodies, such as vegetable residue,
and so on, are accidentally dropped into the right member device
casing 12 through the air inlet openings 1201 of the right casing
cover 120, a user can unscrew the screw 16, and lift up the right
casing cover 120, thereby facilitating extracting the vegetable
residue and foreign bodies.
[0028] Furthermore, a same jointing method is employed for joining
the member device casings 21, 31 of the left and the right member
devices 2, 3 respectively to the casing covers 22 and 32
respectively, thus, taking the right member device casing 3 as an
example, as depicted in FIG. 5, wherein a top end of a rear side of
the casing cover 32 is provided with three bolt holes 322, which
provide for bolts to bolt down into the member device casing 31. A
bottom portion of a front edge of the casing cover 32 is provided
with three cards 323, and, a bottom portion of a front edge of the
member device casing 31 is correspondingly provided with three
clasp holes 316, which provide for the cards 323 to fix position
thereinto.
[0029] In conclusion, according to the aforementioned, the present
invention can be installed around the gas stove so as to form an
integral part of the gas stove, moreover, the air-speed tuner 13 is
utilized to adjust appropriate air speeds desired according to
different heights of smoke exhausts in various households.
[0030] It is of course to be understood that the embodiments
described herein is merely illustrative of the principles of the
invention and that a wide variety of modifications thereto may be
effected by persons skilled in the art without departing from the
spirit and scope of the invention as set forth in the following
claims.
