Folding case
Abstract
The present invention is a folding case comprising a first
connecting piece assembling a base plate with a front and post
sided plate, and a second connecting pieces assembling the base
plate with a left and right sided plate, further, assembling four
corner connecting pieces with corresponding inserting apertures,
thus assembling a firm case structure. When the corner connecting
pieces are not inserted into the inserting apertures, the front and

Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0001] (a) Field of Invention
[0002] The present invention relates to a case shaped structure,
e.g. storage case, drawer etc. to provide a folding case with a
structural firmness and convenient storage.
[0003] (b) Description of the Prior Art
[0004] In everyday life, storage cases are often needed for
collecting and storing items; moreover, venders use storage cases
to store goods on sale, e.g. vegetables, fry goods etc. for
preserving or categorizing goods.
[0005] The conventional storage case that allows an acceptable
amount of storage usually inherits an invariable size, thus
different staking cases appeared, allowing the user to stack the
vacant storage cases away.
[0006] Although such a stacking method allows the stacking of a
number of vacant storage cases, but in a conventional home, a
number of vacant storage cases may not be applicable; in addition,
the living area is originally limited, thus vacant storage cases
can cause obstruction on space.
[0007] Thus the inconvenience is not in the number of cases, but
the set size of the conventional vacant storage case.
SUMMARY OF INVENTION
[0008] A primary objective of the present invention is to provide
four corners of a base plate with a first and second connecting
piece assembled thereon, whereby the first connecting piece
connects the base plate with a front and post sided plate, and the
second connecting piece connects the base plate with the left and
right sided plate, allowing folding between the front and post
sided, the left and right sided and the base plate.
[0009] Furthermore, inserting apertures are formed on upper tips of
the front, post, left and right sided plates, whereby four corner
connecting pieces are inserted into the corresponding inserting
apertures, thus assembling a firm case structure.
[0010] When the corner connecting pieces are not inserted into the
inserting apertures, the front and post sided, the left and right
sided and the base plate can fold overlapping each other for easier
storage.
[0011] To enable a further understanding of the said objectives and
the technological methods of the invention herein, the brief
description of the drawings below is followed by the detailed
description of the preferred embodiments.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
[0020] To better understand the present invention, detailed
descriptions shall be given with the accompany drawings
hereunder.
[0021] As shown if FIG. 1, a folding box comprising of a base plate
11, a front and a post sided plate 12 and a left and a right sided
plate 13. A frame structure of the front and post sided plate 12 as
well as the left and right sided plate 13 comprises a circular
tube-shaped frame with four sides, whereby applying a knitted
material 15, e.g. cloth, rattan etc. to the frame thereafter. An
opening 16 can be formed on a plate body of the left and right
sided plate 13 (or the front and post sided plate 12) for
convenient carriage, but the folding case can also be utilized as a
drawer.
[0022] As shown in FIG. 2, four first connecting pieces 21 and four
second connecting pieces 22 are assembled to four corners of the
base plate 11, wherein the front and post sided plate 12 having the
first four connecting pieces 21 connects to the base plate 11
whereas the left and right sided plate 13 having the second
connecting pieces 22 connects to the base plate 11, thus allowing
the front, post, left and right sided plates 12, 13 and the base
plate 11 to inherit folding capabilities respectively.
[0023] Furthermore, a inserting aperture 14 is formed on two
top-most corners of the two front and post sided plates 12 and the
two left and right sided plates 13, wherein four corner connecting
pieces 23 are inserted into the corresponding inserting apertures
14, thus allowing the front and post sided plate 12, the left and
right sided plate 13 and the base plate 11 to fold overlapping each
other for easier storage.
[0024] Two inserting apertures 14 are formed on each corner of the
base plate 11, provided for inserting the first connecting piece 21
and the second connecting piece 22 respectively. The inserting
aperture 14 is formed on each corner of the two front and post
sided plates 12, provided for inserting the first connecting piece
21; the inserting aperture 14 is also formed on each corner of the
two left and right sided plates 13, provided for inserting the
second connecting piece 22. The aforesaid inserting apertures 14
can be formed directly by a hollow structure of circular tube shape
of the balk frame.
[0025] As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the first connecting piece 21
comprises of a base portion 24, with an pivoting rod 25 and a
inserting rod 26 forming on the base portion 24, wherein the
inserting aperture 14 of the base plate, having the pivoting rod 25
inserted thereinto and the inserting aperture 14 of the front and
post sided plate 12 having the inserting rod 26 inserted thereinto,
thereby enabling the front and post sided plate 12 to use the
pivoting rod 25 as the center axis for folding purposes. Whereas,
the structure of the second connecting piece 22, as shown in FIGS.
5 and 6, a base portion 24 is formed, with two pivoting rods 25
forming parallel on the base portion 24, wherein the inserting
aperture 14 of the corresponding base plate 11 and the left and
right sided plate 13 having the pivoting rods 25 inserted
thereinto, further, the left and right sided plate 13 uses the
pivoting rod 25 as the center axis for folding purposes.
[0026] Therefore, the front and post sided plates 12, the left and
right sided plates 13 and the base plate 11 of the whole folding
case enables folding into a case shape and securing the case shape
by means of the corner connecting pieces 23, thus achieving a firm
storage case, moreover, as shown in FIGS. 7 and 8, the corner
connect pieces 23 comprises of a base portion 24, with two parallel
inserting rods 26 forming on the base portion 24, wherein
neighboring inserting apertures 14 of the front and post sided
plate 12 and the left and right sided plate 13 having inserting
rods 26 inserted.
[0027] As shown in FIGS. 3, 5 and 7, the first connecting piece 21,
the second connecting piece 22 and the corner connecting piece 23
are molded as one unit. The components on the base portion 24, e.g.
pivoting rod 25, inserting rod 26 etc. can be manufactured
separately, and assembled together firmly by means of screws, to
achieve the same effect.
In conclusion, the aforesaid invention is a better folding case
structure.
[0028] It is of course to be understood that the embodiments
described herein is merely illustrative of the principles of the
invention and that a wide variety of modifications thereto may be
effected by persons skilled in the art without departing from the
spirit and scope of the invention as set forth in the following
claims.
