Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0001] 1. Field of the Invention
[0002] This invention relates to a water faucet, in particular a
water faucet comprises a main body having a water outlet, a water
control close to the water outlet, and an outer cover close to
either the water outlet or the water control to protect the water
control from being dismantled.
[0003] 2. Description of the Prior Art
[0004] A conventional water faucet uses a knob as a switch to turn
on and off the faucet and to control the water volume. The knob
operated by many people may carry germs and pass to the next
operator.
[0005] Therefore, a water faucet with a control under the water
outlet was derived. However, the control is threaded to the water
outlet and is easy to be dismantled. Due to the incident, an
integral faucet is developed. But this design must replace the
whole set when any part is broken. Further, this newly designed
water faucet uses plastic material, which is less strong in
structure than metal material. If an operator pushes rough, the
control may be broken after a certain times.
[0006] In view of this, the present inventor has derived the
present invention to improve the shortcomings.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0007] It is the primary advantage of the present invention to
provide a water faucet, which is secure to protect the water faucet
from being dismantled.
[0008] It is another advantage of the present invention to provide
a water faucet, which is easy to repair and to exchange parts.
[0009] It is a further advantage of the present invention to
provide a water faucet, which is easy to operate and lasts
longer.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0018] As shown in FIG. 1, the present invention relates to an
outer cover 1 and is incorporated with a main body 2. The main body
2 has a water outlet (not shown in the drawings) with a water
control 3 secured thereto.
[0019] The main body 2 is provided with the outer cover 1 close to
either the water outlet or the water control 3 to protect the water
control 3 from being dismantled.
[0020] The outer cover 1 and the main body 2 may either be welded
together when installed on the public area or be dismantled when
installed at home. The outer cover 1 also works as a protection of
the water control 3 from a direct contact with the operator, in
particular to protect the water control 3 from being damaged by a
rough operator.
[0021] The outer cover 1 comprises a rib 11, a through hole 12, a
pair of fasteners 13, a groove 14 and a washer 15, as shown in FIG,
2. The fasteners 13 are pins. The main body 2 comprises fasteners
21 corresponding to the fasteners 13 of the outer cover 1. The
fasteners 21 of the main body 2 are holes having elastic sleeves
211 therein. The main body 2 and the outer cover 1 are connected
together by means of connection of the fasteners 21 and 13. The rib
11 protects the water control 3 from being dismantled illegally.
The center portion of the outer cover 1 has the through hole 12 for
a push rod of the water control 3 to extend there through. The
groove 14 is sealed with the washer 15 to maintain the outer cover
1 attached to the main body 1 securely.
[0022] As shown in FIG. 3, an outer cover 1A comprises a rib 11A, a
through hole 12A, a fastener 13A, a groove 14A and a washer 15A. A
main body 2A comprises a fastener 21A. The fastener of 21A of the
main body 2A and the fastener 13A of the outer cover 1A comprise
threads corresponding with each other.
[0023] As shown in FIG. 4, an outer cover 1B comprises a rib 11B, a
through hole 12B, fasteners 13B, a groove 14B and a washer 15B. The
fasteners 13B are pins. The main body 2 comprises fasteners 21
corresponding to the fasteners 13B of the outer cover 1B. The
fasteners 21 of the main body 2 are holes having elastic sleeves
211B therein. The main body 2 and the outer cover 1B are connected
together by means of connection of the fasteners 21 and the
fasteners 13B. The rib 11B protects the water control 3 from being
dismantled. The outer cover 1B has the through hole 12B at the
center portion for a push rod of the water control 3 to extend
there through. Further, the outer cover 1B has a circular trough
16B to accommodate a decorative strip 17B therein. The decorative
strip 17B is made of silicon and is replaceable.
[0024] As shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, an outer cover 1C comprises a rib
11C, a through hole 12C, fasteners 13C, a groove 14C and a washer
15C. The fasteners 13C are pins. The main body 2 comprises
fasteners 21 corresponding to the fasteners 13C of the outer cover
1C. The fasteners 21 of the main body 2 are holes having elastic
sleeves 211C therein. The main body 2 and the outer cover 1C are
connected together by means of connection of the fasteners 21 and
the fasteners 13C. The rib 11C protects the water control 3 from
being dismantled. The outer cover 1C has the through hole 12C at
the center portion for a push rod of the water control 3 to extend
there through. The outer cover 1C has a transparent chamber 18C.
The chamber 18C comprises water inlets (the fasteners 13C), a water
outlet 182C, and visual elements 181C (color balls of flakes) to
produce visual effects.
[0025] As shown in FIGS. 7 and 8, an outer cover 1D comprises a rib
11D, a through hole 12D, fasteners 13D, a groove 14D and a washer
15D. The fasteners 13D are pins. The main body 2 comprises
fasteners 21 corresponding to the fasteners 13D of the outer cover
1D. The fasteners 21 of the main body 2 are holes having elastic
sleeves 211D therein. The main body 2 and the outer cover 1D are
connected together by means of connection of the fasteners 21 and
the fasteners 13D. The rib 11D protects the water control 3 from
being dismantled. The outer cover 1D has the through hole 12D at
the center portion for a push rod of the water control 3 to extend
there through. The outer cover 1D has a transparent chamber 18D.
The chamber 18D comprises water inlets (the fasteners 13D), a water
outlet (182D), and sound elements 181D (reeds) to produce sound
effects.
[0026] From the aforesaid, the first embodiment, as shown in FIG.
1, the outer cover 1 can be installed to the public area and
protects the water control 3 from being dismantled. As shown in
FIGS. 4 to 6, the outer covers 1B, 1C, 1D can protect the water
control 3 from being dismantled accidentally, and may function as a
decorative device.
