RELATED APPLICATIONS

[0001] The present application is based on Provisional Patent Application Ser. No. 60/559,700 filed Apr. 5, 2004.

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0002] The present invention relates to an organizer storage bag having several pockets, wherein each of the pockets can be opened and closed independently.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0003] U.S. Pat. No. 5,960,957 relates to a plastic bag organizer and storage apparatus. The apparatus holds and organizes small items, comprising storage bags having a bag portion and a closure portion. The apparatus further comprises at least one base member having a surface area with slots disposed therein. The slots are under the bag portion, but narrower than the closure portion of the bags. The slots receive the bag portions while the closure portion holds the bag within the slot.

[0004] U.S. Pat. No. 6,523,653 relates to a portable multi-pocket organizer for a carrying case of the type having a primary shell of pliable material formed of a pair of substantially identical primary half sheets connected together. A multi-pocket assembly of pliable material is removably stored within the carrying case. The multi-pocket assembly device includes a rectangular pocket back panel having a front face and a back face, at least two open mesh pockets on the front face of the pocket back panel. A removable auxiliary case is in each open mesh pocket.

[0005] U.S. Pat. No. 6,223,870 relates to a storage and travel bag which includes two side sections releasably fastened to an intermediate center section to form the bag into a travel bag. Unfastening the side sections from the center section allows the center section to be folded and stored, revealing pockets and compartments, and allows the bag to be used as a hanging bag and organizer.

[0006] U.S. Pat. No. 6,183,133 relates to a multipocket carrying case comprising a primary shell of pliable material formed of a pair of substantially identical half shells connected together to form a primary receptacle. Each half shell is formed of a rectangular back panel with a bottom panel, a top panel, and two end panels. A multipocket panel assembly is secured to the back panel and comprises a zig zag or pleated foiled panel forming overlapping front and back folds, the back folds secured to a back panel forming a plurality of pockets having spaces there between, and a closure panel secured along an edge to the back panel to overlap and close the plurality of pockets. The invention further comprises a carrying case having an expandable and adjustable case for carrying many different types of items in an organized fashion, and particularly suited for carrying a few clothing items.

[0007] U.S. Pat. No. 5,918,711 relates to a storage and travel bag having two side sections releasably fastened to an intermediate center section to form the bag into a travel bag. Unfastening the side sections from the center section allows the center section to be stored, reveals pockets and compartments, and allows the bag to be used as an organizer.

[0008] U.S. Pat. No. 5,108,004 relates to a storage bag adapted to be secured to the interior of a cover of a receptacle whereby the normally unused space therein can be utilized to store additional articles. A closed end of the bag is anchored to the interior of the cover with the opening in the bag being accessed to place articles therewithin.

[0009] U.S. Patent Publ. No. 2002/0096409 A1 relates to a portable multi-pocket organizer for a carrying case having a primary shell of pliable material formed of two half shells. It is removably stored within a carrying case. The multi-pocket assembly device includes a rectangular pocket back panel having a front face and a back face and at least two open mesh pockets on the front face of the pocket back panel.

[0010] U.S. Pat. No. 4,585,127 relates to a suspended garment and/or shoe bags that are mounted to an extendable or telescoping support member which is mounted to a clothing rod in a closet by a hanger bar which is carried by the telescoping member so as to be extendable generally perpendicularly with respect to the elongated axis of the clothing rod so that the garment and/or shoe bags are selectively displayed in an area spaced outwardly of any other articles of clothing which may be suspended from the clothing rod.

[0011] U.S. Pat. No. 6,719,157 relates to an organizer for use with a closet rod extending along an axis which includes a row of side-by-side compartments at least partially formed from a flexible material. Each side-by-side compartment has a floor and a mouth between the side walls. The organizer further includes a suspender coupled to the row of side-by-side compartments. The suspender is configured and adapted to hang the plurality of compartments from the closet rod such that each mouth faces a forward horizontal direction perpendicular to the axis of the closet rod when the organizer is hung from the rod.

[0012] U.S. Pat. No. 6,085,902 relates to an article transport and organizer which can be used either as a tote bag for transport and storage of small articles or alternatively can be used in connection with an empty container such as a five gallon bucket for the transport and storage of larger articles as well as for the transport of smaller articles and tools. The apparatus includes a removable shoulder strap that can be used to transport the apparatus when it is used as a tote bag. The inner and outer skirt-like walls of the apparatus are provided with a plurality of spaced-apart pockets which are adapted to receive and organize hand tools and other small articles. Zipper mechanisms are provided for interconnecting together the lower margins of the outer skirt-like walls so as to convert the apparatus from a bucket organizer into a tote bag.

[0013] U.S. Pat. Nos. 5,620,133 and 5,163,606 relates to a portable filing device which comprises a bag which can be opened out to be flat, a hook for suspending the bag, a spine extending across the bag, two straps hanging from the ends of the spine, and a series of hanging pouches spaced along the straps.
