Protective, convenient-to-use air compressor structure
Abstract
A protective, convenient-to-use air compressor structure
comprised of an air compression-use main component and a compressed
air storage tank and a low and a high protective lifting handle
respectively disposed at the outer periphery of the main component
and air storage tank. Multi-faceted, non-angularly contoured guard
plates situated around the main component conceal and cover it, the
low and high protective lifting handle are continuously bent into a
left and right symmetrical shirt shape. As such, since the face
plate and the high protective lifting handle prevent human contact
with the main component operating at high temperature and,
furthermore, since the high protective lifting handle can be folded
out of the way, since arcuate hooks provide for hanging tools and
extension cords, and a tool box is built into the face plate, the
present invention features a center of gravity that affords overall
stability and is convenient to utilize.

air storage tank as well as a low and a high protective lifting
handle respectively disposed at the outer periphery of the said
main component and the said air storage tank, wherein
multi-faceted, non-angularly contoured guard plates situated around
the main component conceal and cover it, the said low and high
protective lifting handle are continuously bent into a left and
right symmetrical shirt shape and, furthermore, the said high

Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0001] 1. Field of the Invention
[0002] The invention herein relates to a protective,
convenient-to-use air compressor structure that by design prevents
burns to operating personnel, does not occupy considerable space,
provides for hanging hand tools and extension cords, facilitates
the hand tool placement, and is equipped with wheels, enabling the
present invention to have center of gravity that affords overall
stability and that is convenient to utilize and, furthermore, also
provides for a protected main component and air storage tank that
prevents contact and damage.
[0003] 2. Description of the Prior Art
[0004] Currently available air compressor structures typically
consists of an air compression-use main component and a tank, in
which air is stored after compression, disposed in an upper and
lower stacked arrangement, with wheels mounted below the outer
periphery of the air storage tank. Such structures have not changed
for decades and people have become accustomed to them as a
commonplace configuration. Thus, no further thought has emerged
with regard to improving utilization convenience or whether the
design could incorporate further stability. After all, air
compressors today appear to be rather top heavy to the extent that
people feel that an instance of carelessness could result in a
knock down, resulting in serious damage to the main component at
the upper extent as well as the air storage tank. Additionally,
high-temperature heat is generated after the main component is
operating, at which time imprudently touching it dangerously
results in an accidental burn; the intense heat does not decrease
immediately after air compressor operation ceases and accident
potential remains as the heat dissipates. As such, it can be
observed that conventional air compressors now available have
numerous drawbacks.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0005] In view of the said observed drawbacks, the inventor herein
developed the present invention which is submitted in application
for patent rights, wherein:
[0006] The primary objective of the invention herein is to provide
a protective, convenient-to-use air compressor structure comprised
of an air compression-use main component and a compressed air
storage tank as well as a low and a high protective lifting handle
respectively disposed at the outer periphery of the said main
component and air storage tank, wherein multi-faceted,
non-angularly contoured guard plates situated around the main
component conceal and cover it, the low and high protective lifting
handle are continuously bent into a left and right symmetrical
shirt shape and, furthermore, the high protective lifting handle is
a two-part, foldable member, and there are wheels underneath the
high protective lifting handle; as such, since a face plate and the
high protective lifting handle prevent human contact with the main
component operating at high temperature and, furthermore, since the
high protective lifting handle can be folded out of the way, the
present invention has a center of gravity that affords overall
stability and is convenient to utilize and, furthermore, also
provides for a protected main component and air storage tank that
prevents contact and damage.
[0007] Another objective of the invention herein is to provide a
protective, convenient-to-use air compressor structure in which a
plurality of upwardly and downwardly oriented arcuate hooks are
disposed in the high protective lifting handle for hanging hand
tools and extension cords and a face plate positioned at the upper
extent of the main component has a built-in a tool box, thereby
facilitating convenient usage.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0028] Referring to FIG. 1, the protective, convenient-to-use air
compressor structure of the invention herein is comprised of an air
compression-use main component 1 and a compressed air storage tank
1A as well as a low protective lifting handle 2 and a high
protective lifting handle 3 respectively disposed at the outer
periphery of the said main component 1 and air storage tank 1A,
wherein multi-faceted, non-angularly contoured guard plates 4
situated around the main component 1 conceal and cover it, the low
protective lifting handle 2 and high protective lifting handle 3
are continuously bent into a left and right symmetrical shirt shape
and, furthermore, the high protective lifting handle 3 consists of
a two-part, foldable and L-shaped upper coupling extremity 31 and a
lower coupling extremity 32, the upper coupling extremity 31 and
the lower coupling extremity 32 each having a through-hole 311 and
321 that enables the fastening by a bolt 3A, with the lower
coupling extremity 32 also having a through-hole 322 [in line] with
the through-hole 51 of a spanner rod 5 that is conjoined in place
via a locating bolt 5A; as a result, when the spanner rod 5 is
engaged between the upper coupling extremity 31 and the lower
coupling extremity 32 (as shown in FIG. 3-A and FIG. 3-B), the
entire high protective lifting handle 3 is upright (as shown in
FIG. 5-A); conversely, when the spanner rod 5 is disengaged from
between the upper coupling extremity 31 and the lower coupling
extremity 32 (as shown in FIG. 4-A and FIG. 4-B), the high
protective lifting handle 3 can be folded (as shown in FIG. 5-B);
additionally, a plurality of upwardly and downwardly oriented
arcuate hooks 33 are disposed in the high protective lifting handle
3, a face plate 6 is positioned at the upper extent of the main
component 1 and, furthermore, several indicator meters 61, tie
openings 62, and a tool box 63 are mounted in the said face plate 6
such that the said tool box 63 can be opened and closed for the
placement of tools; and there are wheels 43 underneath the high
protective lifting handle 3.
[0029] As a result, since the entire main component 1 is concealed
and covered by the guard plates 4, the main component 1 is
protected from the impact of falling tools A (as shown in FIG.
7-A), since the face plate 6 is positioned at the upper extent of
the main component 1 and the high protective lifting handle 3 is
disposed at the outer periphery of the said main component 1, human
contact with the main component 1 operating at high temperature is
not possible, thereby precluding accidental burns, and when the
high protective lifting handle 3 is folded out of the way, it can
be utilized with the low protective lifting handle 2 to provide for
carrying and movement (as shown in FIG. 7-B); additionally, the
plurality of upwardly and downwardly oriented arcuate hooks 33
disposed in the high protective lifting handle 3 provide for
hanging hand tools B and extension cords C (as shown in FIG. 8-A)
or an extension cord C can be similarly wrapped on the projecting
sections 341 at the two sides of the wheel 341 (as shown in FIG.
8-B and FIG. 8-C) and, as such, neatly place the extension cord C;
and, furthermore, the wheels 34 provides for towing by personnel
via the high protective lifting handle 3 and the low protective
lifting handle 2, even if the high protective lifting handle 3 is
folded (as shown in FIG. 9-A and FIG. 9-B).
[0030] Since the invention herein features a center of gravity that
affords overall stability and is convenient to utilize and,
furthermore, also provides for a protected main component and air
storage tank that prevents contact and damage, and thus is
demonstrably progressive, the present invention meets the new
patent application requirements stipulated by Article 97 of the
Patent Law and is submitted to the Patent Bureau for review and the
granting of the commensurate patent rights.
