Kick Toy for developing hand-eye-foot coordination skills
Abstract
A kick toy that is used to help the user develop hand-eye-foot
coordination skills. This is accomplished by giving the user the
opprtunity to control the inflatable ball with the elastic cord
that is attached to the ball. The inflatable ball is connected to a
plastic plug which is inserted into the ball sealing the ball after
the ball is inflated. The plastic plug is then connected to an
elastic cord which is also connected to a swivel or hook device.
The Swivel or hook device is then connected to a metal grommet with
is mounted to the hook and loop wristband. The hook and loop
wristband it then wraped around the users wrist and closed using
the hook and loop material. The user then kickes the ball away from
him or herself. The elastic cord causes the ball to return to the
user. This can be repeated to long periods of time. This invention
eliminates the frustration of retrieving the ball time after time
and allows the user to spend more time developing their
hand-eye-foot coordination skills.

Claims
I claim:
1. A kick toy that is used to help the user develop hand-eye-foot
coordination skills. This is accomplished by giving the user the
opportunity to control the inflatable ball with the elastic cord
that is attached to the ball.
The hook and loop
wristband it then wrapped around the users wrist and closed using
the hook and loop material. The user then kicks the ball away from
him or herself. The elastic cord causes the ball to return to the
user. This can be repeated to long periods of time. This invention
eliminates the frustration of retrieving the ball time after time
and allows the user to spend more time developing their
hand-eye-foot coordination skills.
2. Inflatable ball connected to plastic plug.
3. Plastic plug is inserted into the ball.
4. Plastic Plug is connected to a elastic cord.
5. Elastic Cord is also connected to a swivel device or hook.
6. Swivel device or hook connects to a hook and loop wristband with
or without a metal grommet.
7. Wristband is connected to the wrist pf person using the ball
then is kicked.
8. Ball will go away from person using it and come back to be
kicked again.
9. This can be repeated over and over since ball is connected to an
elastic cord forcing the ball to recoil.
10. Person can control the ball since the cord that is connected to
the ball is also connected to the wristband that is connected to
the wrist allowing the person to direct the ball to where they want
it to come back to.
Description
BACKGROUND OF INVENTION
[0001] Children typically have to utilize a standard soccer ball
regardless of age. This device is lightweight and allows children
of ages 6 or older to play with the ball and not have to retrieve
it. They can attach the ball to their wrist using the hook and loop
wristband and play with the ball for hours without getting
frustrated retrieving the ball. The Kick-It invention will help
them develop hand-eye-foot coordination skills and provide hours of
fun.
[0002] This invention eliminates chasing after the ball and gives
the person using the opportunity to spend more time developing
their coordination skills.
SUMMARY OF INVENTION
[0003] Briefly stated, this invention allows children develop their
skills while at the same time have a lot of fun. This device is
lightweight and allows children of ages 6 or older to play with the
ball and not have to retrieve it. They can attach the ball to their
wrist using the hook and loop wristband and play with the ball for
hours without getting frustrated retrieving the ball. The Kick-It
invention will help them develop hand-eye-foot coordination skills
and provide hours of fun.
[0004] This invention eliminates chasing after the ball and gives
the person using the opportunity to spend more time developing
their coordination skills.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS
[0005] 1. Inflatable ball
[0006] 2. Plug insert to seal the ball once inflated as well as
connect it to the elastic cord with a sealed connection.
[0007] 3. Elastic cord which is approximately 60 inches long that
also connects to the swivel or hook device also with a sealed
connection.
[0008] 4. Swivel or hook device that is connected to metal grommet
mounted in wristband.
[0009] 5. Wristband that is wrapped around wrist and closed using
hook and loop material has metal grommet inserted in wristband
material which is connected to the elastic cord using a sealed
connection
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF SEQUENCES
[0010] 1. The invention consists of an inflatable ball which is
connected to a plastic plug that seals the ball once inflated.
[0011] 2. Plug connects to the elastic cord with sealed
connection.
[0012] 3. Elastic cord which also is connected to a swivel or hook
device with a sealed connection.
[0013] 4. The swivel or hook device is then connected to the metal
grommet that is attached to the hook and loop wristband.
[0014] 5. The wristband is connected to the person using the
invention on their wrist by closing the hook and loop around the
wrist.
[0015] 6. The user then can kick the ball away.
[0016] 7. The elastic cord will make the ball come back so the it
can be kicked again.
[0017] 8. This can be done for long periods of time providing
enjoyment as well as helping the user develop their hand-eye-foot
coordination skills. The user can control the ball since the cord
that is connected to the ball is also connected to the wristband
that is connected to the wrist allows the user to direct the ball
to where they want it to come back to.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0018] The present invention relates to an inflatable ball
connected to elastic cord connected to a plastic plug inserted into
the ball and also connected to a swivel device or hook that
connects to a hook and loop wristband with or without a metal
grommet. Wristband is connected to the wrist of person using the
ball then is kicked. The ball when kicked will go away from person
using it and come back to be kicked again. This can be repeated
over and over since ball is connected to an elastic cord forcing
the ball to recoil. Person can control the ball since the cord that
is connected to the ball is also connected to the wristband that is
connected to the wrist allowing the person to direct the ball to
where they want it to come back to.
