Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] 1. Field of the Invention

[0002] The present invention relates to an adornment, and more particularly to a neck adornment that can be connected to a cell phone and an identification.

[0003] 2. Description of Related Art

[0004] A conventional neck adornment for a cell phone in accordance with the prior art comprises a ring of wicker and a connector mounted to the ring of wicker for being connected a cell phone or an identification. A sheath is mounted to the ring of wicker for binding the ring of wicker such that the ring of wicker is 8-shaped. The sheath can be moved relative to the ring of wicker for adjusting the shape of wicker due to the neck of the user.

[0005] The 8-shaped wicker has first rope around the user's neck and a second rope swing before the user's chest. The swing second rope may hook a button on clothing or a tie bar. In addition, the conventional neck adornment is connected to the cell phone or the identification. The convenient function of the conventional neck adornment is limited.

[0006] The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the disadvantages of the conventional neck adornment.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0007] The main objective of the present invention is to provide an improved neck adornment that can be connected to an identification and a cell phone.

[0008] To achieve the objective, the neck adornment in accordance with the present invention comprises a rope and a plastic wicker coiled around the rope to form a series of teeth on one side of the rope. At least two sutures are stitched on two opposite sides of the tape to combine the coiled plastic wicker and-the rope. A slide is moved relative to the two opposite ends of the tape for forming a circle, and the teethed side of the tape is situated in the inner periphery of the circle and engaged/disengaged to each other when the slide is slid on the circled tape. The slide is combined with a first ring that can be connected to the identification. A connector is securely connected to the two opposite ends of the circled tape to prevent the slide from detaching from the circled tape. The connector is combined with a second ring that can be connected to a cell phone.

[0009] Further benefits and advantages of the present invention will become apparent after a careful reading of the detailed description with appropriate reference to the accompanying drawings.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0010] FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a neck adornment in accordance with the present invention;

[0011] FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view of a tape of the neck adornment in FIG. 1;

[0012] FIG. 3 is a top plan view of the tape of the neck adornment in FIG. 1; and

[0013] FIG. 4 is a schematic view of the neck adornment in accordance with the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0014] Referring to the drawings and initially to FIGS. 1-3, a neck adornment in accordance with the present invention comprises a tape (10) including a rope (11) and a plastic wicker (12) coiled around the rope (11) to formed a series of teeth on the rope (10). At least two sutures (13) are stitched on two opposite sides of the tape (10) to combine the coiled plastic wicker (11) and the rope (11). The plastic wicker (12) and the sutures (13) can be dyed or fluorescent for providing a vivid appearance of the present invention.

[0015] The tape (10) has two opposite ends movably received in a slide (20) for forming a circle and the teethed side of the tape (10) is situated in the inner periphery of the circle and engaged/disengaged to each other, like a zipper, when the slide (20) is slid on the circled tape (10). A first ring (21) is connected to the slide (20).

[0016] A connector (30) is securely attached to the two opposite end of the tape (10) to prevent the slide from detaching from the circled tape (10). The connector (3) includes a fastener (31) for securely connected to the two opposite ends of the tape (10) and a coupler (32) detachably connected to the fastener (31). A second ring (33) is connected to the coupler (32).

[0017] With reference to FIG. 4, when using the present invention, the circled tape (10) is collared on user's neck and the slide (20) is moved toward the user's neck for combining the unnecessary circled tape (10) to prevent the circled tape from hooking objects, such as a button, a tie bar or the like. The second ring (33) can be connected to a cell phone (40). The coupler (32) can be detached from the fastener (31) with the second ring (33) and the cell phone (40) for user to easily use the cell phone (40). In addition, the first ring (21) can be connected to an identification (41) for indicating personal data in the office.

[0018] As described above, the neck adornment in accordance with the present invention includes the following advantages.

[0019] 1. The slide (20) can combine the unnecessary tape (10) due to the teethed side of the tape (10) to prevent the neck adornment of the present invention from hooking a button on clothing of or a tie bar.

[0020] 2. The first ring (21) and the second ring (33) can be respectively connected to an identification (41) and cell phone (10). It is a convenient design for using in a work place.

[0021] Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as hereinafter claimed.
