Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0001] 1. Field of the Invention
[0002] The present invention relates to an inhaler for a vacuum
cleaner, and in particular to an inhaler for a vacuum cleaner which
is capable of effectively cleaning a portion where it is difficult
to clean, like the surfaces of various furniture, a lower side of a
furniture, a surface of a piano keyboard, and blinder, etc. by
improving a structure of an inhaler which is capable of sucking
various foreign substances.
[0003] 2. Description of the Background Art
[0004] Generally, a conventional vacuum cleaner includes a body 11
which is formed of a fan motor for thereby forming a high vacuum
state therein and performing a cleaning operation, a flexible hose
12 extended from the body 11 by a certain length for thereby
providing a certain vacuum force up to the extended portion of the
same, a vacuum pipe 13 connected to an end of the flexible hose 12
and used as a handle, and an inhaler 14 assembled to an end portion
of the vacuum pipe 13 for thereby sucking foreign substances
therethrough.
[0005] At this time, the inhaler 14 is fabricated in various types
based on the kinds of foreign substances which will be sucked, and
the surrounding environments where need a cleaning operation.
[0006] For example, in the case of a common floor or a floor
covered with an oil paper for floor, a T-shaped inhaler is
connected to an end portion of the vacuum pipe. In addition, an
inhaler which has a small inner diameter and is formed in a shape
of a bird's bill is used for thereby effectively cleaning a narrow
groove or a certain opening or gap.
[0007] However, in the conventional inhaler for a vacuum cleaner,
since the conventional inhaler is not well adapted to a Korean
cleaning method in which a cleaning operation is performed,
sweeping a floor using a broom, the conventional inhaler for a
vacuum cleaner is not used widely.
[0008] Namely, in the Korean cleaning method, a large size foreign
substance and dusts are first cleaned using a broom, and then the
floor is cleaned using a floor cloth for thereby finishing a
cleaning operation. In the conventional art, even when a forwardly
protruded brush is installed in a T-shaped inhaler or a bird's bill
shaped inhaler, it is impossible to implement the same cleaning
effect as a Korean cleaning method.
[0009] Namely, in the conventional method, since the conventional
inhaler is formed in a thin shape or a T shape, it is impossible to
implement a desired cleaning effect that the dusts are cleaned
using a broom in a Korean traditional cleaning method.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0010] Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to
provide an inhaler for a vacuum cleaner which overcomes the
problems encountered in the conventional art.
[0011] It is another object of the present invention to provide an
inhaler for a vacuum cleaner which is capable of implementing a
vacuum suction effect as well as a broom-based cleaning effect by
forming the structure of an inhaler which is adapted for generating
a certain vacuum suction force, in a shape of a broom which is
generally adapted in Korea.
[0012] It is still another object of the present invention to
provide an inhaler for a vacuum cleaner which is capable of
effectively cleaning a portion that is difficult to clean, like the
surfaces of various furniture, a lower portion of furniture, a
keyboard surface of a piano, a blinder, etc.
[0013] To achieve the above objects, in a vacuum cleaner which is
formed of a body which is adapted for generating a vacuum force
based on a fan motor installed therein, a flexible hose which is
extended from the body, and a detachable inhaler which is inserted
to an end portion of the vacuum pipe extended from the flexible
hose, an inhaler for a vacuum cleaner comprises an insertion
portion which is inserted to an end portion of the vacuum pipe, and
a suction portion extended from the insertion portion, wherein the
suction portion and the insertion portion are extended in a
longitudinal direction of the vacuum pipe for thereby implementing
a straight line shape of the same.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0029] The construction and operation of the present invention will
be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[0030] FIG. 1 is a view illustrating an example of a conventional
vacuum cleaner which is formed of a body 11 in which a fan motor is
installed for thereby generating a high suction force, a flexible
hose 12 extended from the body 11, a vacuum pipe 13 extended from
the flexible hose 12, and a detachable inhaler 14 which is engaged
to an end of the vacuum pipe 13.
[0031] Here, in the present invention, as shown in FIG. 2, the
construction of the inhaler 14 is improved.
[0032] Namely, the inhaler 14 includes an insertion portion 14a
inserted to an end portion of the vacuum pipe 13, and a suction
portion 14b extended from the insertion portion 14a. At this time,
the suction portion 14b and the insertion portion 14a are extended
in the longitudinal direction.
[0033] An opening 14c is formed in a lower center portion of the
suction portion 14b, and a brush 14d is imbedded along all
circumferences of the opening 14c.
[0034] As shown in FIG. 3, the brush 14d may be formed in such a
manner that the front side and rear side of the same have different
heights.
[0035] In addition, the inhaler 14 is formed in such a manner that
the angle .theta. of the insertion portion 14a is bent at an angle
of about 30.degree. to 60.degree. like the common broom when the
suction portion 14b is placed horizontally.
[0036] In the above construction of the present invention, when the
inhaler 14 is connected to the known vacuum pipe 13, the portion of
the vacuum pipe 13 operates as a handle portion of the broom and is
adapted to clean the floor.
[0037] In addition, as shown in FIG. 5, when the inhaler 14 of the
present invention is adapted to be directly connected to an end
portion of the flexible hose 12, it is possible to use the vacuum
cleaner irrespective of the area of space.
[0038] Therefore, when the cleaning is performed based on the
flexible hose 12 and the vacuum pipe 13 until the vacuum suction
force is applied, the foreign substances on the floor are easily
cleaner based on a sweeping operation of the same. Therefore, the
foreign substances easily fly in the air, so that the vacuum
cleaner effectively sucks the thusly flown foreign substances based
on a suction force which is generated at the time when the foreign
substances are swept by the brush for thereby implementing a
desired cleaning operation.
[0039] Therefore, the inhaler for a vacuum cleaner according to the
present invention is capable of effectively cleaning the surfaces
of various furniture like a desk, T-table, TV, etc. and a lower
portion of a desk, wardrobe, clothes chest, etc. a keyboard surface
of piano, and a surface of a blinder of window, etc.
[0040] As described above, in the present invention, since the
inhaler capable of forming a vacuum suction force is formed in a
shape of broom which has a Korean traditional broom shape, it is
possible to implement a brush sweeping effect and vacuum suction
effect with respect to the floor. Therefore, in the present
invention, it is possible to effectively suck and clean the foreign
substances which are not easily cleaned.
[0041] As the present invention may be embodied in several forms
without departing from the spirit or essential characteristics
thereof, it should also be understood that the above-described
examples are not limited by any of the details of the foregoing
description, unless otherwise specified, but rather should be
construed broadly within its spirit and scope as defined in the
appended claims, and therefore all changes and modifications that
fall within the meets and bounds of the claims, or equivalences of
such meets and bounds are therefore intended to be embraced by the
appended claims.
