Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0001] The present invention relates to a new fashion umbrella.
This new fashion umbrella comprises: a shank, a ring is moving up
and down around said shank which fits telescopically into said
ring. Numerous ribs are mounted on the upper end of the shank and
extend outwardly to form tips respectively. Numerous spreaders are
connected to said ring of the shank, and extend outwardly toward
the ribs, each spreader is connected to corresponding rib
respectively. A canopy is placed and secured on the outside of said
ribs. Also, a handle is connected at the low end of the shank of
the fashion umbrella. When the ring of the shank is pulled down
toward the handle, the spreaders pull down the ribs, so the fashion
umbrella goes to close position. When the ring of shank is pushed
up the fashion umbrella opens.
[0002] Numerous small light bulbs are mounted on the tip of each
rib, a small battery is housed in the hollow handle of the shank.
Numerous thin electric wires are housed inside the hallow shank.
These wires connect the battery in the hollow handle with the small
light bulbs mounted on the tips of the ribs of the fashion
umbrella. An electric switch is provided to turn said light bulbs
ON and OFF.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0003] It is an object of the present invention to provide a
fashion umbrella with a shank.
[0004] It is another object of the present invention to provide a
fashion umbrella with a ring over said shank.
[0005] It is a further object of the present invention to provide a
fashion umbrella with ribs connected to the upper end of said shank
and extend outwardly to form tips.
[0006] Still it is an object of the present invention to provide a
fashion umbrella with spreaders connected to the ring of said shank
and extend outwardly in radius configuration and connected to the
ribs of the fashion umbrella.
[0007] Still it is another object of the present invention to
provide a fashion umbrella with a handle connected to the low end
of said shank.
[0008] Still it is a further object of the present invention to
provide a fashion umbrella with numerous small light bulbs mounted
on the tips of said ribs.
[0009] Yet it is an object of the present invention to provide a
fashion umbrella with a battery housed in the hollow hand of said
shank.
[0010] Yet it is another object of the present invention to provide
a fashion umbrella with electric wires positioned in the hollow
shank and connected to said battery in the hollow handle and to the
light bulbs on the tips of said ribs.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
[0011] FIG. 1 is a front and bottom view of a fashion umbrella in
open position which comprises: a shank, a handle mounted on the
lower end of said shank, a ring is around the shank, said shank
fits telescopically into said ring. Numerous ribs connected to the
upper end of said shank and extend outwardly to tips. Numerous
spreaders are connected to said ring and to the ribs respectively.
When the ring is pulled down the fashion umbrella goes to closed
position, when the ring is pushed up the fashion umbrella goes to
open position. Numerous small light bulbs are mounted on the tips
of said ribs. A battery is housed in the hollow handle of the shank
and electric wires are housed in the hollow shank which connect
said battery in the hollow handle with the light bulbs on the tips
of said ribs. An electric switch is provided to turn said light
bulbs ON and OFF.
[0012] Also a fiber optic system is mounted on said shank and
extends to the tips of said ribs of the fashion umbrella.
[0013] A canopy, which is made of silk, plastic or textile is
mounted on the ribs of the fashion umbrella.
[0014] FIG. 2 is a front view of a fashion umbrella in closed
position, on which is shown only the handle, the canopy, several
light bulbs on the tips of the ribs of the fashion umbrella and a
light bulb on the ferrule on the upper end of the shank of the
fashion umbrella.
DETAILLED DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
[0015] Referring now more particularly to the accompanying
drawings, wherein like reference designate similar parts throughout
the various views, FIG. 1 illustrates an exemplary fashion umbrella
in which the present invention will have advantageous utility. The
fashion umbrella of the present invention comprises: a shank 1, a
ring 3 which can move up and down around said shank 1, which said
shank fits telescopically into said ring 3. Numerous ribs 12, 13,
14, 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19 are mounted on the upper end of said
shank 1 and extend outwardly in radius configuration to form tips
at their end respectively. Numerous spreaders 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10
and 11 are connected to said ring 3 of said shank 1 and extend
outwardly in radius configuration and connected to said ribs 12,
13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19 respectively. Canopy 20 is mounted on
the outside of said ribs 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19. Also a
handle 2 is connected to a lower end of said shank 1 of the fashion
umbrella. When the ring 3 of shank 1 moves downward toward handle
2, the spreaders 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 force the ribs 12, 13,
14, 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19 respectively to move downward toward the
handle 2 to close the fashion umbrella. When the ring 3 moves
upward the spreaders 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 force the ribs 12,
13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19 respectively to move upward to open
the fashion umbrella. Numerous small light bulbs 21, 22, 23, 24,
25, 26, 27 and 28 are mounted on the tips of ribs 12, 13, 14, 15,
16, 17, 18 and 19 respectively. A small battered (not shown) is
housed in the hollow handle 2 of shank 1. Numerous electric wires
(not shown) are housed in the hollow shank 1, of the fashion
umbrella, are connected to said battery in the hollow handle 2 and
also they are connected to said small light bulbs 21, 22, 23, 24,
25, 26, 27 and 28 mounted on the tips of said ribs 21, 22, 23, 24,
25, 26, 27 and 28 respectively. An electric switch is provided to
turn the small light bulbs 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27 and 28 ON and
OFF. A fiber optic system is mounted on said shank (not shown) and
extends to the tips of said ribs 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19
of the fashion umbrella. A canopy 20 is mounted on the outside of
the ribs 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19. Said canopy 20 is made
of silk, plastic or textile.
