Mobile fan-fixing device

Abstract

The present invention provides a mobile fan-fixing device. Since the fan-fixing device of the present invention is designed to be mobile, it is unnecessary to disassemble the fan base with tools when assembling the motherboard and other electric products. In addition, because the fan is assembled by means of engaging with the fan-fixing base, it is no need to use tools when assembling, disassembling and replacing the fan. Moreover, the fan filter is assembled outside of the fan by means of engaging so that the filter is able to avoid the dust to the internal part of the fan and be cleaned without tools. Actually, it only needs taking the filter out and cleaning, then put it back.

Description

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The present invention provides a fan-fixing device, and more particularly to a mobile fan-fixing device for fixing a fan on a side of a computer case.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0002] When installing the side fan in the computer case, it is generally to fix the fan to the back or side computer case with screws. Although using screws can achieve the stable effect, a great quantity of manpower and material resource are wasted on fixing the fan. Furthermore, it is necessary to remove the fan first when disassembling and assembling the motherboard, then other peripheral device of the computer can be disassembled. Actually, it is easily bothered for a user and make the operation more complex. After assembling the motherboard, to reassemble the fan is necessary and will also make the operation more complex. In addition, it is also possible that the dropping screws or tools cause damages of computer components in the process of assembling and disassembling.

[0003] Therefore, it is an object of the present invention to provide a mobile fan fixing device side of the computer case for overcoming the problems described above.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0004] It is an object of the present invention to provide a mobile fan-fixing device for tying in with the assembly. Since the fan-fixing device of the present invention is designed to the mobile form, so it is unnecessary to disassemble the fan base with tools when assembling the motherboard or other electric products. Also, the fan is assembled by means of engaging with the fan base without tools to assemble, disassemble and replace the fan. Furthermore, the fan filter is engaged with outside of the fan, which can avoid the dust into the internal part of the fan and be cleaned without tools. It only needs to take the fan filter out and clean, then put it back to the fan.

[0005] It is another object of the present invention to provide an application of mobile fan-fixing device to mount a fan to a side of a computer case, which includes a fan-fixing base having a base side and fixing the fan thereon, a fan-fixing component having a first side, a second side fixed to the side of the computer case and a rotation component, wherein the base side engages with the first side of the fan-fixing component via the rotation component so that the fan-fixing base is rotatable around a specific angle with the rotation component as an axis.

[0006] Preferably, the fan-fixing device further includes a fan filter and a rubber ring.

[0007] Preferably, the rotation component is an axle.

[0008] Preferably, the axle includes two symmetrical cylinders respectively disposed on two sides of the fan-fixing component.

[0009] Preferably, the fan-fixing component further includes two hooks respectively engaging with the two symmetrical cylinders to enable the fan-fixing base to be rotatable around the specific angle with the axle as the axis.

[0010] Preferably, the fan-fixing component is fixed to the side of the computer case with a plurality of screws.

[0011] Preferably, the first side of fan-fixing component further includes a plurality of hooks for engaging with the fan-fixing base.

[0012] Preferably, the fan-fixing base further includes a plurality of protruding parts, and the fan-fixing component further includes a plurality of recessed parts for engaging with the plurality of protruding parts.

[0013] The above objects and advantages of the present invention will become more readily apparent to those ordinarily skilled in the art after reviewing the following detailed description and accompanying drawings, in which:

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0014] FIGS. 1(a) and 1(b) are schematic diagrams showing the structure of the fan-fixing base and the fan-fixing component according to a first preferred embodiment of the present invention;

[0015] FIG. 2 is a schematic diagram showing the three-dimensional composition according to a second preferred embodiment of the present invention;

[0016] FIG. 3 is a schematic diagram showing the mobile fan-fixing device and motherboard when assembling according to a second preferred embodiment of the present invention; and

[0017] FIG. 4 is a schematic diagram showing the state of fan-fixing device after assembling the motherboard according to a second preferred embodiment of the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

[0018] Referring to FIGS. 1(a) and 1(b), the preferred embodiment of the present invention which provides a mobile fan-fixing device for mounting a fan 17 to a side of a computer case (not shown in FIGS. 1(a) and 1(b)), and enables the fan-fixing device with a movable component to tie in with the assembly. The fan-fixing device includes a fan-fixing base 11 having a base side for mounting the fan 17 thereon, and a fan-fixing component 12 with an axle 121 thereon having one side for engaging with one side of the fan-fixing base 11 via the axle 121 so that the fan-fixing base 11 is rotatable around a specific angle with the axle 121 as an axis. Another side of the fan-fixing component 12 is mounted to the side of the computer case.

[0019] The assembling processes are described as follows: First, engage the fan-fixing base 11 and the fan-fixing component 12. The two cylinders 121 of the fan-fixing component 12 are engaged with the three-to-fourth circular hooks 111 of the fan-fixing base 11, and the two hooks 113 of the fan-fixing base 11 are engaging with a side surface 123 of the fan-fixing component 12 (as shown in FIG. 1(a)). Second, pull the fan-fixing base 11 down, then the fan-fixing base 11 can rotate around sixty-six degree with the two cylinders 121 as the axis (as shown in FIG. 1(b)) till a protruding part 112 of the fan-fixing base is engaging with a recessed part 122 of the fan-fixing component 12.

[0020] As shown in FIG. 2 which is another preferred embodiment of the fan-fixing device in the present invention. First, engage the fan-fixing base 21 with the fan-fixing component 22. Then, engage the fan filter 25, the rubber ring 26 and the fan 27 with the fan-fixing base 21. At last, mount the fan-fixing device to the computer case 23 with a plurality of screws 24.

[0021] FIG. 3 is a diagram illustrating the fan-fixing device in the present invention when assembling and disassembling a motherboard 31 to a computer case 33. First, pulling a fan-fixing device 32 to sixty-six degree. Then assemble or disassemble the motherboard 31.

[0022] FIG. 4 is a diagram illustrating the fan-fixing device 42 pulled to the horizontal position after assembling or disassembling the motherboard 41 to the computer case 43.

[0023] Since the present invention is designed to be mobile so that the fan base is disassembled without tools when assembling the motherboard and other electric products. Moreover, the fan is engaged with the fan-fixing device, so it is unnecessary to use tools when assembling, disassembling and replacing the fan. In addition, because the fan filter is assembled outside of the fan by means of engaging with the fan-fixing device, the filter is able to avoid the dust to the internal part of the fan and be cleaned without tools, it only needs taking the filer out to clean, then put it back. The present invention is convenient and practical and certainly hard to come by.

[0024] While the invention has been described in terms of what is presently considered to be the most practical and preferred embodiments, it is to be understood that the invention needs not be limited to the disclosed embodiment. On the contrary, it is intended to cover various modifications and similar arrangements included within the spirit and scope of the appended claims, which are to be accorded with the broadest interpretation so as to encompass all such modifications and similar structures.
