Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0001] The present invention is related to an improved fishing toy
from U.S. Pat. No. 6,022,025. By means of a bite activation
mechanism and a swinging mechanism, when the fished body is hooked,
the swinging mechanism is driven to make the eye part of the fished
body rotate and make the gill part and tail part swing left and
right so as to simulate the real situation and achieve entertaining
effect.
[0002] A conventional fishing toy includes a buoyant fished body
which is placed under the water to be fished. The fished body is
provided with a magnet and the fishing tackle is equipped with a
magnetic article for attracting the fished body. However, such
fished body is only placed under the water in a still state and
cannot swim as a real fish. Also, when hooked, the fished body
keeps still without liveliness. Therefore, the conventional fishing
toy lacks reality and has poor entertaining effect.
[0003] In the inventor's prior invention, such as U.S. Pat. No.
6,022,025, the inventor disclosed a fishing toy in which the tail
part can swing left and right, and the lower jaw can move up and
down. Nevertheless, the eyes and gills of the fish toys remains
dead in whole operation.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0004] It is therefore a primary object of the present invention to
provide a fishing toy in which by means of the bite activation
mechanism and the swinging mechanism, when the fished body is
hooked, the swinging mechanism is driven to make the eye part of
the fished body rotate and make the gill part and tail part swing
left and right so as to simulate the real situation and achieve
entertaining effect.
[0005] It is a further object of the present invention to provide
the above fishing toy in which the fished body is provided with a
press switch for independently controlling turning on/off of the
motor to drive the swinging mechanism and make the eye part of the
fished body rotate and make the gill part and tail part swing left
and right. Therefore, the fished body can swim in the water.
[0006] According to the above objects, the fishing toy of the
present invention includes a fishing tackle and a fished body. In
the fished body are disposed a motor, a cell seat, a bite
activation mechanism and a swinging mechanism. A trigger switch is
disposed in the bite activation mechanism for controlling turning
on/off of the motor to drive and swing the swinging mechanism. The
swinging mechanism includes a reducing gear coupled with the rotary
shaft of the motor. The reducing gear via an eccentric first roller
drives and reciprocally swings a tail part of the fished body. The
reducing gear is engaged with a gear set which via an eccentric
second roller drives a bracket to reciprocally move. The fished
body has a form of a fish and includes a buoyant main body and
turnable eye parts, gill parts and tail part which are connected
with the swinging mechanism. When the fished body is hooked, the
swinging mechanism is driven to make the eye parts of the fished
body rotate and make the gill parts and tail part swing left and
right.
[0007] The present invention can be best understood through the
following description and accompanying drawings wherein:
