Face powder compact

Abstract

A face powder compact including a cosmetic tray for possessing a grain of face powder on one side and a receiving portion for accepting a cosmetic set on the other side comprises a base plate, formed on a bottom of the receiving portion for accepting the cosmetic set, including array of apertures on up side, and a hinge at one end for raising a front end of the base plate and; a spring formed between the bottom of the base plate and a spring groove of the receiving portion for elastically supporting the front end of the base plate. The cosmetic set may be a puff and the cosmetic set may be a brush. Consequently, when closing a lid, the cosmetic set and a base plate are possessed in a receiving portion while a spring is compressed. If opening the lid, the compressed spring is restored, and a front end of the base plate is raised upwardly while the cosmetic set is separated from the receiving portion and towards upward. Consequently, the cosmetic set is easily grasped and reliability of the face powder compact is improved.

Description

BACKGROUND

[0001] 1. Field of Invention

[0002] The present invention relates to a face powder compact, more particularly to a portable face powder compact capable of easily taking a puff out of the compact.

[0003] 2. Description of Prior Art

[0004] The conventional face powder compact, as described in FIG. 1, includes a case 2 having a cosmetic tray 3 on one side and a receiving portion 5 on the other side. The cosmetic tray 3 possesses face powder 4 and the receiving portion 5 accepts a puff 7.

[0005] A lid 6 is hinged on one side of the case 2 in order to prevent separation of the puff 7 and to protect the face powder 4.

[0006] The conventional face powder compact 1 is convenient to take the puff 7 out because the puff 7 is entirely inserted in the receiving portion 5 of the case 2. It is difficult to grasp one side of the puff 7 when the puff 7 is inserted in the receiving portion 5. And, the puff 7 may be winkled or torn when picking the puff out from the receiving portion 5 because a user should pick upside of the puff 7 using fingers as wrinkling the puff 7.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0007] In order to overcome the conventional problems, an object of the present utility is to provide a portable face powder compact for easily grasping a puff.

[0008] In order to accomplish the object, the present utility provides a face powder compact, which includes a cosmetic tray for possessing a grain of face powder on one side and a receiving portion for accepting a cosmetic set on the other side, comprising a base plate, formed on a bottom of the receiving portion for accepting the cosmetic set, including array of apertures on up side, and a hinge at one end for raising a front end of the base plate and; a spring formed between the bottom of the base plate and a spring groove of the receiving portion for elastic supporting the front end of the base plate. The cosmetic set may be a puff or a brush.

[0009] Consequently, the present utility has some advantages as follows.

[0010] When closing a lid, the cosmetic set and a base plate are possessed in a receiving portion while a spring is compressed. If opening the lid, the compressed spring is restored, and a front end of the base plate is raised upwardly while the cosmetic set is separated from the receiving portion and towards upward. Consequently, the cosmetic set is easily grasped and reliability of the face powder compact is improved.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS

[0011] These and other features, and advantages of the present utility will become better understood with regard to the following description, appended claims, and accompanying drawings, in which like components are referred to by like reference numerals. In the drawings:

[0012] FIG. 1 is a plane of the conventional face powder compact;

[0013] FIG. 2 is a fragmentary perspective of a face powder compact according to the present utility;

[0014] FIG. 3 is a plane of the face powder compact whose lid is closed according to the present utility;

[0015] FIG. 4 is a plane of the face powder compact whose lid is opened according to the present utility; and

[0016] FIG. 5 is a fragmentary perspective of the face powder according to one embodiment of the present utility.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

[0017] Hereinafter, preferred embodiment of the present utility will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0018] In FIG. 2, a face powder compact of the present utility includes a case 12 and a lid 19 hinged to one side of the case 12 and opens/closes the upper portion of the case 12. A hook 20 is formed on a front center of the lid, and a ledge 16 is formed on a front center of the case 12 whose place is corresponding to the hook 20. At front of the ledge 16, a button 17 is formed to separate the hook 20 and the ledge 16 when pressing the sides of the lid 19.

[0019] A cosmetic tray 13 for possessing the face powder 14 is formed on one side of the case 12, and a receiving portion 15 is formed on the other side of the case 12.

[0020] The receiving portion 15 includes a spring groove 18 on the bottom in order to insert a spring 24. And a base plate 21 is placed on the spring 24.

[0021] The base plate 21, formed on the bottom of the receiving portion 15 for accepting the cosmetic set such as the puff 25 or a brush 26, includes an array of apertures 23 on upside, and a hinge 22 at one end for raising the front end of the base plate 21.

[0022] The face powder compact 11 of the present utility contains the base plate 21 and the puff 25 in the receiving portion 15 of the case 12 while the spring 24 is compressed when closing the case 12 and the lid 19.

[0023] If the button 17 is pressed, the hook 20 is separated from the ledge 16 and the lid 19 is opened as described in FIG. 4. Accordingly, the compressed spring 24 is restored and raises the front end of the base plate 21.

[0024] Consequently, the front of the puff 25 adhered on the base plate 21 is led to upward of the receiving portion 15 and easily grasped.

[0025] In the portable face powder compact of the present utility, the one side of the puff 25 is protruded out of the receiving portion 15 when the lid 19 of the compact 11 is opened. Consequently, a user may easily grasp the puff 25. Besides, the reliability of the product is improved by providing convenience to the user.

[0026] Even though the face powder compact of the present utility is a simple improved utility model, which solved only a simple problem, the face powder compact is distinguished from other product with a design which primarily aimed the user.

[0027] FIG. 5 is a fragmentary perspective of the face powder according to one embodiment of the present utility.

[0028] FIG. 5 describes the face powder compact which contains a brush 26 instead of the puff 25. And the face powder compact may possess other cosmetic set besides the puff 25 and the brush 26.

[0029] Consequently, the present utility has some advantages as follows.

[0030] When closing a lid 19, the cosmetic set and a base plate 21 are possessed in a receiving portion 15 while a spring is compressed. If opening the lid 19, the compressed spring 24 is restored, and a front end of the base plate 21 is raised upwardly while the cosmetic set is separated from the receiving portion 15 and towards upward. Consequently, the cosmetic set is easily grasped and reliability of the face powder compact is improved.
