Multi-directional magical building block set

Abstract

A multi-directional magical building block set includes a solid sphere, a rod and a tube able to connect to one another. The solid sphere has a circumference with multiple studs radially extending from the circumference of the solid sphere. The studs equally divide the circumference of the solid sphere. A through hole to receive a rod or a stud from another solid sphere is defined in the solid sphere perpendicular to a plane containing the studs. The tube has a through hole longitudinally defined to receive a rod or a stub extending from a solid sphere. Consequently, the blocks of the present invention can be assembled in multi-directions depending on the user's wish to arouse the user's imagination and originality.

1. A multi-directional magical building block set comprising a solid sphere, a rod and a tube connected to one another to form a three dimensional figure.

2. The multi-directional magical building block set as claimed in claim 1, wherein the solid sphere comprises: multiple studs radially extending out from a circumference of the solid sphere, the studs equally dividing the circumference of the solid sphere and able to be inserted into a tube or another solid sphere; and a through hole to receive a rod or a stud on another solid sphere defined in the solid sphere perpendicular to a plane containing the studs.

3. The multi-directional magical building block set as claimed in claim 1, wherein the rod is flexible and has a diameter slightly smaller than through hole in the solid sphere, and the rod can connect to a solid sphere or a tube.

4. The multi-directional magical building block set as claimed in claim 1, wherein the tube has a through hole longitudinally defined to received a rod or a stud and the through hole in the tube has a diameter slightly larger than a rod or a stud.

5. The multi-directional magical building block set as claimed in claim 2, wherein the tube has a through hole longitudinally defined to received a rod or a stud and the through hole in the tube has a diameter slightly larger than a rod or a stud.

6. The multi-directional magical building block set as claimed in claim 5, wherein the rod, the through hole of the solid sphere and the through hole of the tub are polygonal.
Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] 1. Field of the Invention

[0002] The present invention relates to a building block set, and more particularly to a multi-directional magical building block set.

[0003] 2. Description of Related Art

[0004] A conventional building block set in accordance with the prior art comprises multiple blocks. The shapes of the blocks are cubic, round, triangular or many other special shapes. However, all of the conventional building blocks have the same characteristic that is the connecting direction of the conventional building blocks is up and down or back and forth. Consequently, the figures formed by the conventional block set are limited.

[0005] The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the disadvantages of the conventional building block set.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0006] The main objective of the present invention is to provide an improved multi-directional magical building block set that includes a solid sphere, a rod and a tube, which can be connected to one another. The solid sphere has a circumference with multiple studs radially extending from the surface of the solid sphere. The studs equally divide the circumference of the solid sphere. A through hole to receive the rod or a stud on another solid sphere is defined in the solid sphere perpendicular to a plane containing the studs. The tube has a through hole longitudinally defined to receive a rod or a stud extending from another solid sphere. Consequently, the blocks of the present invention can be assembled in multiple directions depending on the user's wish to arouse the user's imagination and originality.

[0007] Further benefits and advantages of the present invention will become apparent after a careful reading of the detailed description with appropriate reference to the accompanying drawings.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0008] FIG. 1 is an operational plan view of a multi-directional magical building block set in accordance with the present invention;

[0009] FIG. 2 is a top plan view of a main body of the multi-directional magical building block set in FIG. 1;

[0010] FIG. 3 is a perspective view of a rod of the multi-directional magical building block set in FIG. 1; and

[0011] FIG. 4 is a perspective view of a tube of the multi-directional magical building block set in FIG. 1.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0012] With reference to the drawings, a multi-directional magical building block set in accordance with the present invention comprises a main body (1), a flexible rod (5) and a tube (6) to connected to one another to form a three dimensional figure.

[0013] The main body (1) includes a solid sphere (2) having multiple studs (3) radially extending from the periphery of the solid sphere (2) along a circumference of the solid sphere (2). The studs (3) are equally spaced along a circumference of the solid sphere (2). A through hole (4) is defined through the center of the solid sphere (2) and is perpendicular to a plane containing the studs (3). The through hole (4) has a diameter slightly larger than the studs (3) so that a stud (3) in another solid sphere (2) can be pressed into the through hole (4) to connected two main bodies (1).

[0014] The rod (5) can also extend through and be detachably pressed into the through hole (4) to connect two main bodies (1) or have a tube (6) pressed onto the rod (5) as a sleeve. The rod (5) has a diameter slightly smaller than the through hole (4) in the solid sphere (2) so that the rod (5) is firmly held in place when pressed into the through hole (4) in the solid sphere (2). The tube (6) includes an axial through hole (7) longitudinally defined to received a rod (5). The through hole (7) in the tube (6) has a diameter slightly larger than the rod (5) so that the tube (6) is firmly held in place when pressed onto a rod (5) or a stud (3) on the solid sphere (2).

[0015] Further with reference to FIG. 1, the multi-directional magical building block set in accordance with the present invention can be assembled in multiple directions to form a three dimensional figure depending on a user's desire to arouse the user's imagination and originality.

[0016] Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as hereinafter claimed.
