Description
DESCRIPTIVE REPORT
[0001] The invention we refer to in the body of the present
descriptive report and with the aid of the complementary
accompanying drawings is a toy in the form of a doll, provided with
major enhancements consisting of the incorporation of a mobile
telephone of special characteristics, with the option also of
having a school calculator, sound effects and even a small radio
set, offering the advantage that this doll fitted with a telephone,
through being primarily intended for children, may have the doll's
telephone hooked up to a direct line to the telephone of the
parents or any person in their charge, so that direct communication
will be set up by simply pressing a button, being extremely useful
in the event of the child getting lost through remaining in contact
with its mother in this case and assisting its recovery, provided
with structural and constitutional features that differ
substantially from all the means and mobile telephones known at
this time, all these reasons, in conjunction with its innovative
qualities and practical utility, are what furnish it with adequate
foundations for obtaining the privilege of exclusivity being
applied for in reference to its manufacture and sale by the holder
in Spain as a consequence of the present registration of the
Utility Model to which it is attached.
[0002] The telephone built into a doll serving as a child's toy has
a different concept from common mobile telephones and its purchase
cost will be very economical, being a protective element for
children in their mothers' eyes, while not requiring the technology
of current mobile telephones, nor the Internet, nor call memory,
nor the majority of advances in mobile telephony.
[0003] In general terms, apart from the answer and hang up
functions and operating switch, the doll enhanced with a built-in
mobile telephone covered by this registration would have other
accessories intended for children, such as a video game of the
simplest sort, provided with a pair of buttons that would only have
to be pressed once to call up directly the number chosen by its
mother or that of its best friend (this gives the mother the
assurance that her child can get in contact with her by simply
pressing a button).
[0004] Another variation in respect of a normal mobile telephone is
that of the tones, so that the noise produced on pressing the
buttons may be amusing for children, such as for instance noises of
out of space, special weapons, blows and others, usable when
playing with the doll, which will constitute a toy.
[0005] For clearer understanding of the general features described
above some drawings are adjoined showing graphically represented in
schematic form one case of a practical embodiment of the doll
enhanced with a built-in telephone to which we have been referring,
while making it quite plain that, in view of the primarily
informative nature of the drawings in question, the figures
designed in them should be examined in the broadest perspective
without any limitation of any kind.
[0006] The figures represented in the adjoining drawings show as
specified below:
[0007] FIG. 1. Perspective projection of the doll with its internal
built-in telephone, which remains in the child's hand in the closed
position.
[0008] FIG. 2. Perspective of the doll seen from behind in the
action of opening the mobile telephone flap, revealing the
operating controls of the mobile telephone and its display, which
may be used as a simple video game, the doll having one of its arms
in the raised position, so that it may hold the aerial of the
mobile telephone or radio.
[0009] FIG. 3. Elevational side view of the doll showing the hinged
flap in the raised position and ready for use.
[0010] FIG. 4. Perspective projection of the mobile telephone
housed in the doll, with the hinged flap of the telephone open and
the child making a call or playing with the simple video game,
revealing the buttons, which may be a variable number for making
calls, and provided with a button of a given colour which, when
pressed, sets up a direct link with the telephone of the mother or
person designated for the purpose.
[0011] FIG. 5. Perspective of the child making a call with the
mobile telephone built into the toy doll.
[0012] In reference to the adjoining drawings, it should be stated
that the different figures shown in them include numerical
annotations relating to the descriptions of their features and
operation which are made below, thereby facilitating their
immediate localisation, 1 being the number of the toy, exhibiting a
variable outer form, with the option of having one of its arms -2-
in the raised position in order to act as an aerial for the mobile
telephone, the actual doll -1- incorporating the built-in mobile
telephone -3-, provided with a hinged flap -4-, which simulates the
back of the doll when in the closed position.
[0013] The hinged flap -4- of the mobile telephone -3- is lifted up
in the direction of the arrow -5- by means of the hand -6- of the
user, who in this case will be a child, pivoting on the hinge -10-,
the mobile telephone -3- having on its front panel the display -7-
and a set of keys -8- to make the calls, while being provided with
another key -9- that is differentiated from the others by its size
or colour, which, by merely being pressed, will automatically call
up a given telephone, which may be that of the mother or of a
specific person of trust, in the event of the child getting lost,
so that the child can be located at all times.
[0014] The mobile telephone -3- built-into the body of the doll -1-
will be of special characteristics different from common mobile
telephones as on the one hand it lacks the technology of common
mobile telephones, having neither connection to the Internet, nor
call memory nor most of the advances of mobile telephony, whereas
on the other hand it has features typical of toys, such as special
sounds when the keys are depressed, with the option of being
provided with a video game appearing on the display -7- as well as
other toy effects not specified.
[0015] Considering that each and every one of the parts making up
the doll enhanced with a built-in mobile telephone that is the
object of the invention have been amply described, it only remains
for us to state the possibility that its different parts may be
made in a variety of materials, shapes, sizes and colours, while
the figure of the doll could even take on a configuration different
from that of a doll, such as a car or the like, with the option
likewise of its constitution including those variations of a
constructional type that practice may so advocate, providing that
they are not capable of altering the essential points which
represent the object of the present Utility Model registration.
