Dear Ms. Menon,
I am the examining attorney assigned to several of Good Sportsman Marketing’s trademark applications, including the ones listed below. These four applications are nearly in condition for publication review, but I have one issue for each of them that we may be able to resolve by Examiner’s Amendment (same issue for all four applications). These four applications are:
- Serial No. 90404404 (REVEAL)
- Serial No. 90404372 (OFFICE)
- Serial No. 90404392 (PREVUE)
- Serial No. 90404380 (KINGPIN)
CLARIFICATION OF ENTITY TYPE
All four of these applications have the entity type set forth as a “corporation”. However, the designation “L.L.C.” is in applicant’s name. Moreover, applicant has many registrations, and in all the ones I have seen, their entity type is set forth as a “limited liability company”. Thus, applicant’s entity on the four above-listed applications must be clarified.
In view of that, applicant may request that its legal entity type on these four applications be amended to Limited Liability Company.
With your authorization, I can amend the entity type on these four applications before moving these applications forward to publication review immediately. Please let me know by 5PM EDT on TUESDAY, MARCH 30, if you have any questions and/or if this option is acceptable. If I do not hear from you by then, I will move forward with an Office action formalizing the above issue.
