Class 42: Providing a website featuring temporary use of non-downloadable software that quotes, underwrites, binds and issues surety bonds
The parent application is abandoned for the reasons stated below.
(2) Child application serial no. 88977569 contains the following services:
Class 35: Data compiling and analyzing in the field of insurance, namely, providing an on-line searchable database featuring construction bids and projects to insureds and prospective insureds; business information services, namely, providing data, analytics, maps and information regarding construction bids and projects to insureds and prospective insureds; providing an interactive website which promotes construction bids by providing data, analytics, maps and information regarding construction bids and projects to insureds and prospective insureds for the purpose of simplifying the bond request process and developing business in the construction and insurance industries
Class 36: Surety, bond and insurance services, namely, providing a portal for insured and agent users to submit surety bond requests and manage surety bond accounts; Providing an on-line searchable database of construction bids and projects and corresponding insurable risk data, analytics, maps and information for insureds and prospective insureds for the purpose of assessing risk and securing surety bonds
Class 42: Providing a website featuring temporary use of non-downloadable software that allows users to search a database for construction projects and bids, submit requests for surety bonds, and manage surety bond accounts in the fields of insurance and construction
A statement of use filed on March 17, 2020 meets the minimum filing requirements and has been placed in the child application. The statement of use will be routed to the examining attorney for examination and, if it does not meet all the statutory requirements, the examining attorney will notify the applicant.
The PARENT APPLICATION IS ABANDONED because neither a statement of use nor a request for extension of time to file a statement of use (extension request) was filed for the goods and/or services in the parent application and the time period for filing a statement of use or extension request has since expired. 37 C.F.R. §§2.88-2.89.
