“Pharmaceuticals, namely, pharmaceutical preparations for ____ {specify disease or condition to be prevented or treated or the health goal to be achieved, e.g., “pharmaceutical preparations for ocular or intraocular surgery”}”
Applicant may amend the identification to clarify or limit the goods, but not to broaden or expand the goods beyond those in the original application or as acceptably amended. See 37 C.F.R. §2.71(a); TMEP §1402.06. Generally, any deleted goods and/or services may not later be reinserted. See TMEP §1402.07(e).

INFORMATION ABOUT WORDING SIGNIFICANCE REQUIRED
To permit proper examination of the application, applicant must provide the following information:
(1) Explain whether the wording “VYLODIA” in the mark has any meaning or significance in the industry in which the goods are manufactured, any meaning or significance as applied to applicant’s goods, or if such wording is a term of art within applicant’s industry.
(2) Explain whether this wording identifies a geographic place or has any meaning in a foreign language.
(3) Submit an English translation of all foreign wording in a mark. If the wording does not have meaning in a foreign language, applicant should so specify.
The format for an English translation:
The English translation of “VYLODIA” is “____”.
The format for when there is no English translation:
The wording “VYLODIA” has no meaning in a foreign language.

SIGNATURE REQUIRED
The following statements must be verified: That applicant has a bona fide intention to use the mark in commerce and had a bona fide intention to use the mark in commerce as of the application filing date; that applicant believes applicant is entitled to use the mark in commerce on or in connection with the goods or services specified in the application; that to the best of the signatory’s knowledge and belief, no other persons, except, if applicable, concurrent users, have the right to use the mark in commerce, either in the identical form or in such near resemblance as to be likely, when used on or in connection with the goods/services of such other persons, to cause confusion or mistake, or to deceive; and that the facts set forth in the application are true. 37 C.F.R. §§2.33(b)(2), (c), 2.34(a)(2), (a)(3)(i), (a)(4)(ii).
