USPTO database searched; no conflicting marks found. The trademark examining attorney searched the USPTO database of registered and pending marks and found no conflicting marks that would bar registration under Trademark Act Section 2(d). 15 U.S.C. §1052(d); TMEP §704.02.
Application has been amended as shown below. As agreed to by Halle Markus on May 6, 2020, the examining attorney has amended the application as shown below. Please notify the examining attorney immediately of any objections. TMEP §707. Otherwise, no response is required. Id. In addition, applicant is advised that amendments to the goods and/or services are permitted only if they clarify or limit them; amendments that add to or broaden the scope of the goods and/or services are not permitted. 37 C.F.R. §2.71(a).
The amended identification of services for International Class 35 is acceptable and the requirement is satisfied.
AMENDMENT OF IDENTIFICATION OF SERVICES FOR INTERNATIONAL CLASSES 41 AND 42:
The identification of services for International Classes 41 and 42 are amended to read as follows:
Educational services, namely, developing, arranging, and conducting educational conferences in the field of website and application development and distribution of training materials in connection therewith; providing a website featuring non-downloadable educational videos in the field of website and application development, in International Class 41.
Creating an on-line community for website and application developers for the purpose of participating in discussions and getting feedback from their peers on the topic of website and application development best practices; Providing a website featuring educational information and resources in the field of website and application development methodology best practices; Providing links to websites of others featuring educational content in the field of website and application development, in International Class 42.
