I am the Examining Attorney reviewing the federal trademark applications captioned above. I was hoping to discuss and resolve disclaimer issues in each of the four applications. This should expedite the processing of your client’s applications.
Specifically, I will be requiring disclaimers of the following for each application:
- For Serial No. 88692778 (SQUAWK SAUCE), the descriptive word “SAUCE” must be disclaimed apart from the mark as shown.
- For Serial No. 88736879 (FRY BOMB), the descriptive word “FRY” must be disclaimed apart from the mark as shown.
- For Serial No. 88736883 (FRY-BOMB GUARANTEE), the laudatory term “GUARANTEE” must be disclaimed apart from the mark as shown.
- For Serial No. 88736885 (FRY BOMB GUARANTEE), the descriptive term “FRY” and the laudatory term “GUARANTEE” must be disclaimed apart from the mark as shown.
