EXAMINER’S AMENDMENT

Issue date:  November 05, 2019

USPTO database searched; no conflicting marks found.  The trademark examining attorney searched the USPTO database of registered and pending marks and found no conflicting marks that would bar registration under Trademark Act Section 2(d).  15 U.S.C. §1052(d); TMEP §704.02.

Application has been amended as shown below.  As agreed to by Hoang-chi Truong on November 5, 2019, the examining attorney has amended the application as shown below.  Please notify the examining attorney immediately of any objections.  TMEP §707.  Otherwise, no response is required.  Id.  In addition, applicant is advised that amendments to the services are permitted only if they clarify or limit them; amendments that add to or broaden the scope of the services are not permitted.  37 C.F.R. §2.71(a).

IDENTIFICATION OF SERVICES AMENDED

The identification of services is amended to read as follows: 

Class 35: Professional staffing and recruiting services; personnel placement and recruitment services; employment agency services; employment staffing and recruiting consultation services; career search, recruitment and placement services; job placement services; providing an online searchable database featuring employment opportunities and candidate resumes for prospective employees and employers.

Class 42: Platform as a service (PAAS) featuring a computer software platform that allows employers to upload information about job, placement and career opportunities and search for candidate resumes and for job seekers to search for employment opportunities and obtain information about potential employers; platform as a service (PAAS) featuring a computer software platform for connecting and matching prospective employees with employers; platform as a service (PAAS) featuring a computer software platform for connecting and matching prospective employees with employers and for employers to onboard, manage and pay employees; platform as a service (PAAS) featuring a computer software platform for connecting and matching freelance workers and independent consultants with companies and for the companies to on-board, manage and pay freelance workers and independent consultants.
