Office Action (Official Letter) About Applicant’s Trademark Application

NON-RESPONSIVE SUBMISSION

Issue date:  January 17, 2020

On January 16, 2020, applicant filed a voluntary amendment requesting that the word STUDIO be amended to STUDIOS in the drawing.  This correspondence concerns matters unrelated to the outstanding Office action dated July 23, 2019 and is thus considered non-responsive such that it does not extend the response period for that Office action.  See TMEP §719.  Therefore, applicant must respond to the outstanding Office action within six months of the issue date of July 23, 2019, to avoid abandonment of the application.  Id.

The applicant should note that the word STUDIO has been changed to STUDIOS, per its request.  The applicant should also note that the disclaimer requirement in the July 23, 2019 should now relate to the word STUDIOS, rather than STUDIO.
