I am indeed an authorized signatory of Amazon Technologies, Inc. and have been for a number of years. Can I ask what specifically brought this up – so we can avoid this hiccup going forward?
Thanks!

Hello Valerie,
Aimee Mahan may telephone or send an e-mail message to clarify the record that she an authorized signer and the USPTO staff will make an appropriate Note to the File in the record, review the previously submitted response, and take the appropriate action. TMEP 611.05(b). Alternatively, in a response to the action there will need to be a statement that Aimee Mahan is authorized to bind the applicant. TMEP 611.06(d). I hope this clarifies the situation. Please feel free to reach back out if you have any other questions.
Best,
/George Murray/

Dear Mr. George Murray,
We are in receipt of your Office Actions, issued on November 18, 2019, for Application Serial Nos. 88332660; 88332686; 88338956; 88338957; and 88353183. The Office Actions indicate that the response was not signed by a proper person. I have read through the referenced sections of the Trademark Manual of Examining Procedure, and Trademark Federal Statues and Rules, and it is my understanding that a corporate officer is able to sign on behalf of the Applicant. Aimee Mahan is a corporate officer of Amazon Technologies, Inc. with a title of Assistant Secretary, and signed the Office Action responses as such. Please let me know if further clarification is needed, or if you need documentation supporting this.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
-Valerie
