MEANING OR SIGNIFICANCE

The Examining Attorney has requested that Applicant provide the following information:

 (1)  To Applicant's knowledge, the word “KYANITE” does not have any meaning or significance in the trade or industry in which Applicant’s goods and/or services are manufactured or provided, any meaning or significance as applied to applicant’s goods and/or services, or if such wording is a term of art within applicant’s industry. 

 (2)  To Applicant's knowledge, the word “KYANITE” does not identify a geographic place or other proper name. 

 (3)  Respond to the following questions:  Why was it chosen?

The mark was chosen as a fanciful name for Applicant's services.

TRANSLATION

 To Applicant's knowledge, KYANITE is an English word and there is no translation.
