Cool Bottoms trademark registration inadvertently lapsed due to noncommunication with our prior counsel and address changes
resulting from multiple floods/disaster events and moving, therefore we did not receive notifications of expirations. (2 catastrophic floods in South Louisiana 3 address changes, complete
loss of capital and storage space, and loss of our corporate email all contributed to the missed notices.)
We respectfully request the USPTO to make our trademark application for Cool Bottoms special, as we are a small company, and there is a large company (3M wound care) who is
speaking with us about licensing, which is a threat to our future commerce. I have included all our current labels and website in the application. I personally (Jen Bartels Moore) am the
founder/creator of the tradename back during 2008.
I have also uploaded a screenshot of our recent conversation with 3M to prove this immediate problem, which affects our NeutrapHor and our Cool Bottoms trademarks in the
immediate future. I have also submitted a "make special" for our other trademark application for NeutrapHor with proof of current use.
