EXAMINER’S AMENDMENT
ISSUE/MAILING DATE: 1/21/2019
DATABASE SEARCH: The trademark examining attorney has searched the USPTO’s database of registered and pending marks and has found no conflicting marks that would bar registration under Trademark Act Section 2(d). TMEP §704.02; see 15 U.S.C. §1052(d).
APPLICATION HAS BEEN AMENDED: The trademark examining attorney is amending the application as follows. No prior approval or authorization from applicant or applicant’s attorney is required. TMEP §707.02. Please advise the undersigned immediately of any objections. Otherwise, no response is necessary. TMEP §707. Any amendments to the identification of goods and/or services may clarify or limit the goods and/or services, but may not add to or broaden the scope of the goods and/or services. 37 C.F.R. §2.71(a); see TMEP §§1402.06 et seq.
DESCRIPTION OF MARK WILL NOT BE PRINTED (ADVISORY)
In the initial filing, Applicant properly complied with the requirement to provide a clear and accurate description of the special form mark that Applicant seeks to register. 37 C.F.R. § 2.37. The description of the mark will not be printed on any registration that may issue from this application and will remain part of the application record for informational purposes only. TMEP § 808.03. A description is unnecessary because the mark is composed of easily recognized stylized lettering that can be identified without explanation. Id.
