| Applicant respectfully requests removal of the 2(d) refusal. The Office has refused registration because of its contention Applicant's goods and
services are related to credit union services. However, Applicant is a blockchain company. The description does not relate to credit union services. The to the extent "electronic fund transfers"
occur these are very different from a bank transfer of funds. The evidence submitted by the Office relate simply to bank like companies and not cryptocurrency and blockchain companies. The evidence
is insufficient to establish a relatedness between the goods. Consumers seeking Applicant's goods and services and not the same consumers seeking credit union services and therefore there is no
confusion. The undersigned attorney encourages the Examining Attorney to contact him and discuss limitation possibilities to alleviate the Office's concerns of relatedness the descriptions. |
