Subject: Trademark Application No. 87565464 for the mark SYMPHONY
As we discussed, the identification of goods in International Classes 9 and 11 must be amended. With respect to Class 9, we need to know the function of the software. With respect to Class 11, the identification must be specific as “equipment” is too broad.
Applicant may adopt the following identification, if accurate:
INTERNATIONAL CLASS 9: Computer hardware and software for use in monitoring and controlling coffee roasting equipment.
INTERNATIONAL CLASS 11: Coffee roasting equipment, namely, coffee roasters, coffee roasting ovens, and structural parts therefor.
For assistance with identifying and classifying goods and services in trademark applications, please see the USPTO’s online searchable U.S. Acceptable Identification of Goods and Services Manual. See TMEP §1402.04.
Please let me know if we can enter amendments by examiner’s amendment.
Best Regards,
