Hi Erin, thanks for the email.
Please delete “and for educational services, namely, conducting conferences in the field of substance abuse prevention and health promotion for student-athletes and athletics department administrators” from the services description in these applications.
Sorry for the confusion with the address for the U.S. Ser. No. 86971520. I thought I had cleaned that up in the ROA. Yes, the correct address is as shown in 86971465.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Subject: Trademark Applications for APPLE (U.S. Ser. No. 86971465) and APPLE & Design (U.S. Ser. No. 86971520)
Dear Mr. Tyler,
Hello. My name is Erin and I am the trademark examining attorney with the United States and Patent Office that has been handling your company’s above-referenced trademark applications. In reviewing the responses to the Office Actions, there is an issue with the responses that I would like to try and resolve without issuing second non-final Office Actions, if possible.
Unfortunately, with respect to the proposal to add “and for educational services, namely, conducting conferences in the field of substance abuse prevention and health promotion for student-athletes and athletics department administrators,” this language is outside of the scope of the original identification of services and therefore, cannot be added to the applications at this stage. I can delete this language on my end with your authorization via Examiner’s Amendments. Otherwise, I will need to issue second non-final Office Actions.
Also, with respect to the design application, the address appears to be incomplete. I assume it should be the same as the word mark application? Please confirm.
Please let me know if you are amenable to deletion of the above-referenced language. Thank you in advance for your response. I look forward to hearing from you.
Best,
Erin
