I am reviewing the EZ Plate trademark application.  We can expedite the application via an examiner’s amendment, if you can please contact me by 3pm on Thursday, January 31, 2013 to discuss the following issues:

 

1.       Disclaimer of “Plate”  - The evidence shows that “plate” is used to describe a feature of water heaters

2.       Clarification of Identification.  The wording “or other source of hot water energy” is ambiguous and must be clarified. 

 

Proposed amendment:  Water heater using boiler water or other source of hot water energy¸namely ___{specify, e.g. solar energy}
