REMARKS
Identification of Goods
The identification of goods has been amended to “Compression contacts, namely, pin and socket contacts for conducting high currents with low resistance for use in electrical power connectors” as required by the examining attorney in order to specify the common commercial name and function of the goods.
Requirement for Information
The examining attorney has requested that Applicant submit product information for the goods. Advertisements and promotional materials are not available for the specific goods of this application. However, attached is a data sheet for a similar product wherein a POWER ARCH contact would replace the CROWN BAND contact.
Applicant is the world’s largest passive electronics components manufacturer, providing advanced technology products to customers in a diverse set of industries. Applicant’s trademark POWER ARCH will identify pin and socket contacts for electrical power connectors used to conduct high currents with low resistance. The product is applied to the end of a bundle of wires. The POWER ARCH contact can either be sold individually or, after being crimped to the wire bundle, can then be installed into a connector housing and sold as part of a cable assembly. Typical customers would include leading edge original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). The product will also be sold to/ through smaller contract manufacturers and distributors.
Disclaimer
Applicant has disclaimed the word “POWER” apart from the mark as shown as required by the examining attorney.
Conclusion
It is noted that the Patent and Trademark Office records do not show that Applicant’s trademark is confusingly similar to any registered mark. It is therefore believed that this application is in condition for approval and publication and favorable action is requested.
