Response to Office Action for Post-Registration Matters

To the Commissioner for Trademarks:

The following is submitted for registration number. 2831200 THOMSON :

FORM INFORMATION

In the Office Action, the Examiner objected to the Section 8 Affidavit of Use filed and required Registrant to establish a clear chain of title to the Registration.  The Examiner is respectfully advised a change of name was recorded against the instant Registration from the prior Registrant, THOMSON, to the new owner, TECHNICOLOR, on October 13, 2010 at Reel/Frame 4295/0754 with an effective date of January 27, 2010.  Inasmuch as Registrant has provided sufficient evidence to establish proper ownership of the Registration with a clear chain of title, Registrant respectfully requests the Section 8 Affidavit be accepted.

While Registrant is not aware of any fees associated with this Response or in connection with the Registration at issue, the Examiner is hereby authorized to charge any deficiencies to Deposit Account No. 18-0013.
