FIG. 4 is a bottom view of the valved connector assembly of FIG. 1. Front and rear views of the first embodiment of the valved connector assembly are analogous to the top and bottom views of FIGS. 3 and 4.

FIG. 5 is a right side view of the valved connector assembly of FIG. 1.

FIG. 6 is a left side view of the valved connector assembly of FIG. 1.

FIG. 7 is an enlarged cross-sectional view of a portion of the valved connector assembly of FIG. 6, taken through plane 7-7.

FIG. 8 is an exploded perspective view of a second embodiment of a valved connector assembly. The second embodiment of the valved connector is identical to the first embodiment shown in FIGS. 1-7 when the second embodiment is in an assembled state; and,

FIG. 9 is a second exploded perspective view of the valved connector assembly of FIG. 8.
