Description
FIG. 1 is a front perspective view of an upholstered chair showing
my new design;
FIG. 2 is a rear perspective view.
The invention is characterized by the ornamental appearance of its
back portion. The periphery of the back portion extends
transversely at its lower edge across the width of the seat portion
to its side edges; rises symmetrically at its side edges to
approximately the height of the arms where it tapers symmetrically
inwardly toward the center of the back portion and then rises
symmetrically upwardly; and finally extends transversely at its
upper edge to its side edges. The rear face of the seat portion
extends from the upper edge downwardly and rearwardly to a
symmetrically, upwardly curved edge which merges with symmetrically
contoured depressions extending upwardly and inwardly toward the
center of the face, from approximately the height of the arms.
