USPTO database searched; no conflicting marks found.  The trademark examining attorney searched the USPTO database of registered and pending marks and found no conflicting marks that would bar registration under Trademark Act Section 2(d).  15 U.S.C. §1052(d); TMEP §704.02.

 

Application has been amended as shown below.  As agreed to by Joseph G. Chu on November 10, 2021, the examining attorney has amended the application as shown below.  Please notify the examining attorney immediately of any objections.  TMEP §707.  Otherwise, no response is required.  Id.  In addition, applicant is advised that amendments to the goods and/or services are permitted only if they clarify or limit them; amendments that add to or broaden the scope of the goods and/or services are not permitted.  37 C.F.R. §2.71(a).

 

IDENTIFICATION OF GOODS

 

The identification of goods in Class 9 only is amended to read as follows, with changes in bold: 

 

IC 9: Speed indicators; Display monitors for automobiles, namely, computer display monitors for indicating driving status of vehicles, liquid crystal display (LCD) monitors for indicating driving status of vehicles, touchscreen for monitors in use for passengers to enter instructions, and monitoring devices for helping efficient use of automobile; Navigation apparatus for vehicles in the nature of on-board computers; Navigation apparatus for automobiles; Downloadable and recorded computer programs and software for use in tracking and setting vehicle driving performance, safety and maintenance data; Downloadable and recorded computer programs and software for car navigation systems, namely, computer software application for use in connecting entertainment multimedia interface in motor vehicles; Downloadable computer software for mobile applications that enable interaction and interface between vehicles and mobile devices; Downloadable and recorded computer operating system software; Downloadable electronic publications in the nature of magazines in the field of vehicles and motorsports; Downloadable electronic publications in the nature of service manuals in the field of vehicles and motorsports
