The request can be filed electronically via the Section 7 request form available at http://teas.gov.uspto.report/s7r/.
Since your request will be considered as a correction, the usual fee for a Section 7 amendment is not required. However, please enter a statement in the “Explanation of Filing” field on the form to indicate that the amendment was filed prior to registration, and no fee is required. If you do not enter this statement, the Post-Registration specialist will issue an Office action requiring payment of the fee.
