That works.  Can we make the same changes to both applications?

Justin, let me know if this wording would work and if it would be accurate.  If acceptable, I can do an

Examiner’s amendment for this.

In International Class 6 (acceptable):  “Anchors and anchor mounts for kayaks”

In International Class 12:  “Accessories specially adapted for kayaks, namely, paddles, paddle holders,

cup holders, phone holders, and fishing rod holders; kayak storage systems, namely storage containers,

trays, and crates specially adapted for mounting on kayaks; kayak motor mounts; fish location device

mounts specially adapted for kayaks; kayak transducer mounts”

Robert,

I think most of it looks great.  The only change I would have is that “storage containers, trays and crates

specially adapted for kayaks” would be accurate, but they aren’t for “storing” the kayak itself.  Not sure

if that make sense, but they are containers that fit various features of a kayak where you can store

equipment on the kayak.

Thoughts?

Importance: High

Hi Justin,

I’ve had the chance to review the Response relating to the application to register the YAKGADGET

trademark.  I’d like to propose some additional minor tweaks to the Class 12 identification to ensure

proper classification.  The following may be adopted, if accurate:

In International Class 6 (acceptable):  “Anchors and anchor mounts for kayaks”

In International Class 12:  “Accessories specially adapted for kayaks, namely, paddles, paddle holders,

cup holders, phone holders, and fishing rod holders; kayak storage systems, namely storage containers,

trays, and crates specially adapted for storing kayaks; kayak motor mounts; fish location device mounts

specially adapted for kayaks; kayak transducer mounts”

If the proposed changes are acceptable, kindly reply by email or phone indicating as such, on or before

the close of business on Monday, May 17, 2021, and the changes may be entered by examiner’s

amendment and the application approved for publication.  If you have any questions, please do not

hesitate to ask.

Sincerely,

/Robert Cohen/
