[WARNING: EXTERNAL SENDER]

Mr. Chellgren:

Good morning.  I have reviewed your request to amend to a Section 44 filing basis. Before I can accept this amendment, one portion of the identification in Class 7 must be clarified because it does not match up with the identification in the foreign registration. In particular, the wording “machine tools for milling artificial teeth” does not appear in the foreign registration and the other wording in the foreign registration would not clearly overlap this.  The foreign registration covers the following goods: “computer aided carver; engraving machines; cutters[machines]; 3D printers.

If this wording in the US application is encompassed by one of these IDs, the US application must be amended to so specify, e.g., “machine tools for milling artificial teeth, namely, cutters.”

If this is accurate, I can make this change by examiner’s amendment and allow this basis amendment.  Let me know how you would like to proceed.

The best way to reach me today is by responding to this email.  If you would like to discuss this matter on the phone, I would be happy to schedule a phone call for after 3PM.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Charlie Corwin
