Hi Tiffany,
I am a trademark attorney at Dickinson Wright and I work with Jennifer Craft. I left you a voicemail yesterday regarding the COMBS GLOBAL application in Class 16. The disclaimer of “GLOBAL” is acceptable. Also, based on your email below that you will withdraw the Section 2(d) refusal based on the clarification of services for the 3 BROWN GIRLS COALITION application, the disclaimer of COALITION is acceptable.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any other questions. Thank you!

Dear Ms. Craft,
I have reviewed your responses to Office action (Petition to Revive and Divide) in the above entitled trademark applications- accessible here:
I left you a voicemail about the state of the application for COMBS GLOBAL yesterday but will recap here- Based on your response, I had entered a disclaimer of “GLOBAL” and approved the application for publication; however, after re-reviewing your comments regarding the disclaimer as to Class 16 specifically, I wanted to double check if the disclaimer is acceptable for Class 16 goods, and whether or not your intended to provide consent to this disclaimer. If not, will withdraw the application from publication review and issue a final refusal as to the disclaimer requirement for this application. If not, I’ll leave the application as in publication que.
Similar to COMBS GLOBAL, I wanted to double check that a disclaimer of COALITION is acceptable to the application. I am willing to drop the 2(d) requirement based on the clarification of services in the identification. You response said the disclaimer is acceptable if the section 2(d) is withdrawn but I wanted to make sure this is the case before proceeding with entering the disclaimer.
Please confirm the disclaimer of GLOBAL and COALITION is acceptable for the respective applications identified above by COB Friday 4/24/2020. If I do not hear from you by then, I will issue a final refusal for both application as to the disclaimer requirement.
Thank you, and I look forward to assisting you with your trademark applications.
/Tiffany Chiang/
