Miscellaneous Statement
The Applicant is the owner of the now Cancelled registration for "Newfield", U.S. Registration Serial No. 3487759 for the same services in Classifications 35 and 41. Applicant/Registrant filed Section 8 and 15 petitions to renew after the first 5 years. Unfortunately, Applicant did not receive the courtesy notice for the 10 year Section 8 & 9 renewal petitions and did not realize the registration had expired. Applicant has continued to use the Mark "Newfield" in commerce without interruption and to defend its exclusive rights to the Mark.
